iris123
If he's given his name wrong in his license application (or it's been misread) then thats what we'll call him... Personally I spoke with Aakko on 29th August and got the impression he would miss yet another season. He didn't, but maybe his injuries and slow recovery played a part. I mean the Aakko I know should have walked heats 18, 14 and 1. Could be,but last season he was known as Seifert I am sure But I know Timo is often called Lathi or something in Germany and he finds it quite funny I agree with you on Annti

Ghostwalker
This just might be tougher of the two quali's? Norola might shake some feathers... So the quali on sat, challenge on sun and a revenge race in gävle on mon. From the dates I have seen it is Fri-Sun; Friday 15th. Quali Saturday 16th challenge Sunday 17th Revenge race at Gävle. There will also be an international race at Hallstavik at January 28th. http://www.unt.se/sport/isracingfest-pa-speedwayovalen-4060075.aspx
iris123
What happened to Järf? Not interested in international meetings?Could be a world championship without any Finns.Would be nice to see Weber get through and one of the young Swedes.Have one or two new faces and not the same old same old...... Järf is not interested in doing the full WC series, so he wasn't given a quali slot either. Which in my opinion is the correct move. Shame in the way that he's a TOP15 rider in the world capable of reaching things in his chosen sport...

Conkers
I've got the Suplimentary Regs for the European Final at St. Johann on the 30th Jan. No. 3 is alocated to the ACU, and I understand GB will be represented by Kevin Rowand, unless anyone knows different?

Conkers
Out of interest, what is the actual list of British riders mate? The only three I know at the moment are Rob Irvine, Roger Newton and Kevin Rowand. It's Roger who may very well be riding in St. Johann if/when it goes ahead. There's also that Andrew 'Bill' Barrett whom I now nothing about other than what I've read in this thread. As for some of the old riders, I see Graham Halsall most years at Assen, along with Bruce Cribb, Doug Wyer and Reg Wilson who have all worn the Union Flag Bodycolour. f-s-p
Out of interest, what is the actual list of British riders mate? Did some stats early in the week, ain't that rosy in Sweden anymore either even with N. Svensson and Ledström coming through. They've had 2 Isracingserien meetings with around 24 riders. Of them 6 were foreign and Serenius and Fastesson are closer to 70 than 60 years of age... Enlisting for the Finnish final has just opened, hoping to get 16 riders together. In the past 3 years 33 different riders enlisted for the Finnish final. Edited January 15, 2016 by f-s-p
