iris123
What does Seppänen say about this 'rule' or accepted practice? He really seems to have jumped into the frying pan so far this season Edited January 18, 2016 by iris123
DutchGrasstrack
... as for the Dutch, Jesper says Rene Stellingwerf is taking a year out and Reitsma didn't go to the qualifiers. I spoke to Gerrit Schukken in Berlin last year and he is taking a year out on medical advice, but hopes to be back in next season. I'm sure Jesper will tell us if Bolt is injured or not. \ Haven't heard anything from Schukken, so I doubt if he will ride again. Bolt is back in NL and I think he's feeling fine. He was at Groningen all weekend to display his bikes at a motorshow. Interesting is that the Assen club is reporting on their website that it's likely that Aakko will be replaced by the first reserve Niedermaier. Mr Ore
Just had a message from a contact in the Austrian Federation, regarding the European Championship to be held in St Johann im Pongau on the 30/1/16. The weather forecast isn't looking good, and the meeting may have to be cancelled. They will make a decision on Tuesday (19/1/16). Having looked at the long range weather forecast for the area, the temperature is predicted to rise. St Johann is a natural track and wihout temperatures below freezing the snow used to pack in for the Ice will simply melt Got a mail from them last night confirming it is off. Flights and hotel already booked and paid for. Second time this has happened to us at this venue but there are far worse places than Salzburg to be stranded in so extra Mozart birthday gigs, Red Bull FC pre season friendlies and Union basketball game instead. Only chose Sankt Johann in Pongau this time around when we got a wedding invite clashing with our intended trip to Almaty. Most available dates for possible restaging are no good so maybe no fix now this year. Well done to the promotion for keeping me updated and no grumbles with them at all, excreta happens. You have to hand it to their organisation, as they sent out the cancellation pretty promptly once they knew it was off. Looks like I'm back snapping footy that weekend, so my first Ice Racing meeting of the season will be Berlin in March now.

Looking for the Östersund quali. Sorry I don't know. But AFAIK the Östersund quali was not covered by Svemo TA. It was listed as scheduled but there was no link to a live results page. I only have the points results: http://www.op.se/sport/motor/svensson-och-ledstrom-till-gp-final Edited January 19, 2016 by Ghostwalker

EDIT: NOW the rider list for the series can be found from where it should be, but my original problem was that a ride list was "published", yet not anywhere to be seen, or sent to. It was an official FIM release that was on FB and then the link to speedweek gave the reserves And now I see Krasnikov has the first wild card in Krasnogorsk

Conkers
. Is that Czech Championship mtg a one-off, or first of several rds ? . To be perfectly honest I haven't got a clue. Bear in mind this is the first meeting they have had in the Czech Republic for three years so if its a one off or a series I suspect it depends on the weather. Jesper directed me to the results here: http://www.speedwaylive.eu/prvnim-ledovym-kralem-je-andrej-divis/ so I used that to get the info.
