Still bloody raining, so clearly the right decision. One way to ensure speedway runs to October I suppose :drink:

While us die-hard {or is that sad?} fools freeze our nuts off on the terraces. On a less glib note, I do like to see our sport at night under floodlights. It does add to the spectacle IMO.

Looking at the forecast it was no surprise it was called off. We were just leaving Berwick to head south when we heard the news, so at least we're home at a decent time and not the expected 3am

Minus the point, { at least } which was very likely on offer if your lads could have fathomed our track quickly enough. If at Berwick this morning you made damn quick time home, assuming you ain't on line at a Premier Inn en-route.

Made the 320 mile journey in around 7 hours with a break at Wetherby. Raining almost all the way. That's the British summer for ya
