Poole Pirates Vs Wolverhampton Wolves 22/7/15

Recommended Posts

Serjeant really costing Wolves with his rollers and terrible attitude.

Phew that's a relief that it's a tier 2 rider guesting for a tier 1 rider that's cost them the meeting and not Their 3 heat leaders hardly scoring and Branford out of his depth 😴

Was the 21st the cut off date for the averages 😉

Lindgren continuing to lower his average. Wait a minute - he's just cr@p!

I can't believe that Wolves haven't made any changes to their god awful team!

No deliberate engine failures or averaging lowering just a team in freefall.

Still, I'd rather a team be crap than cheat.

The expected result that proved Monday was a one off.

Well that was just what the doctor ordered, a good night out at Wimborne Rd. I said we needed to dish out a drubbing, and so we did. The move by Starke on Sarjeant was worth the price of admission. Also entertaining seeing the start marshall get his revenge.

Paid max for Dak North. Doubt it'll do anything to silence his doubters, but he was brilliant tonight.

Well done James Sarjeant.Got a less than welcome reception, then getting excluded for moving at the start. He then fell awkwardly in Ht12.Once on his feet he acknowledged the few that clapped him.

Good lad.

Ride of the night belonged to Paul Starke in the rerun of ht12.Speedway at its best whether GP,EL,PL or NL. Great ride.

No real suprise that Wolves got nothing from this one and that Poole hit 60 points and took 13 race winners through the meeting. Also no suprise of late that Wolves heat leaders failed to win a race and the only two winners were second strings.

Well done Jacob on making a fight of it and Tobiasz showing a little of what we know he could be but this season is little more than saving face now and winning at home.

Monday and this meeting must have made them think why they didn't pick Starke in the draft.

Sarjeant earned that reception from his behaviour last time he was here. Although this time he accepted his warning and eventual exclusion without getting in any Marshall's face, kicking any flags or punching any part of the track. He's a good rider but seems to struggle around Wimborne Rd. Happy to see he wasn't hurt.

Fully agree on Starke though. His form has improved a lot lately. Really good to see.

Maybe not badly hurt but he was hurt. He has badly bruised ribs and is still struggling with an arm injury which is still causing him a lot of pain & seeing a physio. That's why he is currently struggling for Glasgow as well. Should really have taken longer out.

Yeah he should. I thought he had recovered which was why he was back. I understand a lot of reserves only get paid for points so I get why he'd want to be back but it's not worth risking your long term health and career for. Wish him a full and fast recovery. Club loyalty doesn't matter when rider injuries are concerned. Never like to see any of them hurt.
