A very attractive fixture due to take place this coming Monday against Rye House. But Sky want to show speedway live at Lakesise on Monday evening (Kent's official race night) and Lakeside are discounting tickets to a fiver a ticket if bought in advanced. This I guess leaving the Kings little choice but to cancel their meeting. Just don't seem fare. Sky have been good for British Speedway but they seen to have a lot to answer for as well. Shadders
The Raiders are hot at the moment, Kent are not. Off the back of the demolition of Mildenhall at West Row on Sunday, no wonder the Kent promotion don't fancy it

I wonder, do the same people feel sorry for Sainsburys when Tesco have a 2 for 1 offer?
WembleyLion
I have been waiting for this to be called off for weeks although it actually looked like Len wouldn't do that until he saw what the Raiders did to Mildenhall!

He won't wanna lose to his son again. Last time must've been embarrassing
Guest
As is usual these days, Kent Kings seem very quiet on the matter!
teaboy279
It's a joke I have seen one person post on another thread that a "large" group go to both. First week of summer holidays and great chance to attract new families and we have an empty stadium.... Stupid stupid decision!

Len Silver changed the Rockets race day to Sunday a couple of years ago to avoid clashing with the X Factor on a Saturday evening. He has history. Hob Nob
I was told Len had steam coming out of his ears. You would think that he would show some sort of support for his Son. I think Lakeside have given him the perfect excuse to avoid the Raiders for a while longer!
