Ipswich Vs Glasgow 23rd July 7.30 Pm

Recommended Posts

Need three points to safeguard our place in the top 6.

Can we beat Glasgow at fortress Foxhall? LOL

Seriously we need to sort this home nonsense out. Fine on the road but struggle at home pretty much all season which is bizarre.

I'll go with a Witches win and Glasgow to take a point back up North.

Konopka gets so much track time everywhere - he really should be an EL heat leader by now.

No Palovaara is a big loss for the Weegies.

Assume Tungate won't risk it again.

Might not be such a stroll for Ippo but unlikely to drop the points like last week.

Glasgow will have to rely on the top three of Morris, Lawson & Summers to bring in around 40 points to have any chance of gaining a point. Every one except Morris can take a Howe r/r ride. Morris has had 2 weeks off so may be rusty but needs track time with PB at home this Sunday.

Sarjeant has been poor since being injured last month and moving into the 1-7. Amazingly he never jumped the start once last Sunday but that won't last!

Our reserves for this one are a write off, a bit like Berwick a few weeks ago where nothing at the bottom end cost us a thumping.

Think a point is too far for us to reach in the circumstances!

Keep the faith MD!!

I might even go along to give your boys some support!!

Ellis might have a point to prove so he could pick up a few.

Ellis with a point to prove ? He already had that chance when guesting for Rye House and was rather woeful .

Can see Glasgow getting a point here and the Witches scrapping a win but it will be close down to the last couple of heats .

That Rye House team (Kyle Hughes at 3 plus Dan Greenwood & Danny Maassen at reserve) was always going to be cannon fodder.

Would expect the team spirit in the Weegies camp to be so much better and therefore push him on to a better performance.

Well if he stays on his bike instead of visiting the 4th bend safety fence like he seems to do at least once a meeting at foxhall in recent times he has been back then he may well score a few more

Bit like Manzares then.

I think he has hit the 4th bend fence every meeting I have seen him!!

Doesn't matter if the Weegies get a point as long as we get 3. Someone who needs to pick his game up is Nico, been subdued at 5, just goes to show what a hard gig it is in this league against the better teams.

I think now that rohan is getting back towards his best, it may be a good time to swap him and nico back. And imo it's Heeps that needs to up his game, especially at home.

Any win will do for me.

Glasgow are certainly good enough to trouble us so any weak link could leave us vunerable.

Heres hoping for a solid all round performance.

Yup a Witches win and the fairweathers not sitting in my regular seat will do me....

Change of seat change of luck ?

Yes Heeps does need to bring more to the table ok only back from injury recently but needs to push on now . Seems to tire very quickly as the meeting goes on .

As for Rohan yer good call i think who ever said it put him back at 5 now he seems to have got his confidence back ,against Edinburgh last week in my eyes he put alot more effort into his races than he has shown all season at home and he looked quicker and more up for it .

Can you stay at home and watch Eastenders then and Gino might stay on his bike.

I wonder when David Howe is coming back? Seems to be no discussion at all about this.

Do you wonder about Sheffield and Berwick riders coming back or just Glasgow riders? Don't lose any sleep over it and put your big spoon away.
