Paulco
Nobody seen that coming , Berwick are struggling at the moment , but after winning by 6 points at Rye , to lose the tie at home is criminal
Bandits4eva
Don't think I've got any words that could sum that up! People will take the piss no doubt because of the fact my fiance is a Rye supporter.... but that was just so hard to watch! Thought about walking out of a meeting for the 1st time ever but no.. I stuck at it and watched every painful heat! Everything just stunk of defeat and giving up last night and I also believe I've just seen my last Berwick home meeting! It's been an absolutely stinking few days!

It's been an absolutely stinking few days! I certainly hope it isn't, as I have a degree of affection for the Berwick fans, and I enjoy there company. I do not profess to know all the problems at Berwick, if there is any about running next season and in a way it difficult to know what else the Promotion could have done. The one thing that has come across reading between the lines this season is the unity between fans and Promotion seems to have taken a bit of a battering this season, which is sad for everyone connected at Berwick speedway and maybe it is something that the Promotion needs to may work upon to secure the future of the club. Lets hope that the club will be running with the present owners or new ones if not, and for the present the riders give a far better performance for the fans for the rest of the season.
cityrebel
The sad fact is, that Berwick will not be the only club fighting for survival this coming winter.

Fromafar
Not sure if the track was prepared to put Rockets off but it certainly backfired as Edberg and Kus certainly don't like heavy tracks .A heavy shower of rain late afternoon maybe didn't help in that respect.Credit to the Rockets they done most of the overtaking. The new Swede look good though.Who will be at reserve next month? Does edberg like any form of track?? Complete waste of space and a shocking attitude it seems as well. Why the promotion are wasting money on air fares for him is anyones guess . Replacing him with Carr would surely be a no brainer all round Thormblom looks impressive though - got to be a positive. The berwick 1-7 looks very poor overall though atm

SCB
I would rather have Carr or another young GB rider, trying and coming last, than sit through anymore of Edberg`s attitude. This. One of the great things about the EL draft is seeing the young Brits coming on. We're able to see them got from second half to NL and now EL. It's nice to win but it's even better to see a young Brit from the very start. I still love seeing Harris, Barker, Lambert and Newman racing and doing well because I remember seeing them at training school or second halves. As for the gater vs racer thing. Garrity cost Coventry on Sky vs Poole but while I was disappointed I was. It annoyed withr Garrity because he rode his bits off and would have been far more upset with his score than I was. You just don't get that impression with some riders.

Black Angus
Well, that was awful. We almost left before the end, and I've never done that, even in the worst of Peter Waite's times. Thomas and Kus were the cause of the loss, as much as Edeberg and Liam. Brave and honest of the promotion to put out the newsletter. Some people on here need to take a long hard look at themselves. Catch Me If You Can
Well, that was awful. We almost left before the end, and I've never done that, even in the worst of Peter Waite's times. Yes That was my first time at Berwick this season. I heard moans about the track but it was raining very heavily around 5pm and it must have had an effect. From looking on it was a deep track which should have completely played into Berwick riders hands but the opposite happened. Kus (one race apart) was totally ineffective as was Jorgensen, both unable to gate. As for reserve that should have been the trump card, again the opposite. Edberg does it in Sweden and I think he needs to take a long hard look and make the decision to stay there. He must realise the stick he was getting from the terraces. Very disappointed and please my Elite team at least is top. I dont like to normally criticise but I looked at your fixtures and it could be second bottom soon? To The Point
Like everyone, I was deeply disappointed in our loss. The track suited gaters more than ever, concidering most of our team are not brilliant at the gate, I wonder why it was prepared in that way. The Met office forecast was spot on as usual, heavy showers about 17.00 and it was I got bl**dy drenched on the way home, with that in mind why so late in the afternoon was the track watered, if it had been done AM might have got away with it. With the exception of Kevin, Mathias & Coty, the rest were totally having a bad night, although when Alex swapped bikes looked a lot better, but to be fair by then the track was getting better. By heat 10 to 11 the Berwick team was starting to get to grips with the track, until someone decided to bring the tractor out again, hmmmm !. As I saId disappointed, however, I will still be there most weeks, unless some idiot decides to get married, unlikely as most of them are likely to pop their clogs.
