allthegearbutnaeidea
He shouldn't be in the team, our number 8 has proved on a number if occasions that he is better than him, Liam is a Berwick asset, why can't he be a Berwick rider, is the fuel to much to pay?
crescent girl
Well, the newsletter tells us they are both in the team on Saturday, so let's get behind all the Bandits to get them into the semi-finals. Matej Kus the guest. Plus something to give Shads and B4E a smile.

Black Angus
Looking forward to this one, Bandits could easily toss it away, or win by a barrowload! Either way, if we see racing as good as some of the heats from last week (Doolan and Garcia were great to watch) it'll be fine by me. Also be good to welcome Eddie Kennett back to Shielfield Park.

Robinh88
Kennett is doing really well for Rye (even better than last) well into the 9's.... Like Stead I believe he works full time so fair play to him, makes you wonder what folk like Barker and Edberg are doing being full time riders... Knows his level maybe the Modern day Steve Lawson Yep no complaints Bunyan was awful, Edberg would have beaten him Edited July 22, 2015 by GrigorijLaguta13

But if speedway is to survive, the vast majority of riders, unless they can somehow secure similar sponsorship, are going to have to go semi-pro or part-time, however you want to term it.
Robinh88
Speedway will survive just at a lesser quality. As for the riders guys like Woffinden and Lambert will be laughing. Woffinden is top man in the World Poland and Sweden statistically speaking anyways... and Lambert has been signed in Poland already, not sure by whom but he's been picked up. Harris isn't required very often by Rybnik and Cook still hasn't raced an official meeting for a domestic club. Apart from the two mentioned above all the focus should be on the British leagues. Making sure these lads either have adequate fixtures or allow our GB riders to double up and down. I remember Dave Tatum moaning about Barker being refused to race for Stoke on a 8.04 average so couldn't race for both Stoke and Coventry simultaneously... Stoke brought Klaus Jakobsson in instead. Which in turn ruined Stoke's season and probably did Barker out of a good few bob. We need to look after our boys Oddly enough Edinburgh's top man has been doubling up on a 9-10pt average for 3-4 seasons now, funny how things always work out for the Monarchs

Just that Craig Cook rode for Edinburgh on a couple of occasions this season and not Belle Vue on the same night.

The parent club has priority and if the rider is on loan then it's the team in the same league as the parent club. If there's a rearranged fixture clash then the original one takes priority.
