Berwick V Rye House Sat 25th Koc Q/f 2nd Leg

Recommended Posts

Can the Bandits do it, I blooming hope so, Carr in for Hall who's on Longtrack duties, unsure on No.1 and Rye team

A stottie cake walk for the Bandits.

Rockets will be shell shocked after Fridays meeting at Armdump, but should line up:

Kennett

RR (Lykke)

Mellgren

Aspegren

Jakobsen

Bowen

Maassen

Mellgren, Aspegren & the reserves are eligible to take the RR rides.

Expect respectable scores from Kennett and Jakobsen. Could be anything from Aspegren, depends if he gates. Don't expect much from the others. Bandits by 16-18 points, possibly more.

Those of you who print out their scorecards, you can expect Aspegren to take the RR in heat 1

I'm hoping you are right Shadders, to me it all depends on which Aspegren and Mellgren turns up and if Maassen and Bowen can get round the track

Oh, they'll get round alright, just a lot slower than your riders

I think our reserves will score well this Saturday, and going to predict a close but comfortable win.

You will have the rare sight of Alex Edberg completing all of his heats

Its a strange thing, when Edberg is in a scoring position his bike runs four laps no problem, however when he is either overtaken and ends up at the back, or he`s in fourth place from the start his bike fails to last the four laps. I am sure Edberg will have sorted out his engine gremlins and be ready to score many points against the Rockets.

I'll never forget his guest appearance for us at Ipswich. Four starts and I don't think he completed half a dozen laps in total

Quite happy with a 6points lead from 1st leg but having lost our last 3 home meetings anything can happen. In reality we should qualify for the semi-final and keep our season alive.
