zlata prilba
I'm afraid Holder must have gave Muddlo one big BJ to get a ride in ht15 instead of Watt

BritPete
I wonder what team Poole will have by the play-offs?
GoFastTurnLeft
We won't . There are times I hate being right. As I couldn't see it and only had Twitter updates it's hard to say, but I can't help feeling that we keep thinking we'll get an easy win when we go to some of the lower on the table clubs. Our riders need to take every meeting, every opponent seriously. On paper we should've won this, but based on what I read, seems we had some silly mistakes and I have no idea what was up with Holder, he was brilliant yesterday for Torun. Gavan
Middlo sorry Muddlo with quite clearly the most shocking rider choice on heat 15. Well done wolves now lets see how many Poole fans try to excuse Holder and Middlo. Can't keep using Holders injuries as an excuse when he has been the fastest rider at the last 2 Grand Prix, Poole were lucky to get anything because if Wolves had their best reserves out it would have been a bigger thumping,. So pirates anybody care to answer why Holder was in heat 15 and not Watt?

No excuses from me, I still support my club, but this was a poor performance.
mdmc82
You are the worst tipster ever! I hope you don't bet on speedway or you would be skint! And before you say, yes I did predict 47/46 to Wolves! I'm starting to think I bring bad luck to teams lol. (Shall I predict a Away win on Thursday 😉) However after watching Wolves at Brandon and their recent scores, I'm sure a lot of people would have predicted the same including Wolves fans. Very glad to be wrong.

GoFastTurnLeft
It's not a poor performance when you take something out of an away meeting. It's a poor performance when you take a quarter of what your team has the ability of taking. If we took nothing, I'd have downgraded it to 'woeful' I just know how good our club is, we don't need to make changes to our lineup to win the league, we have a great seven man squad, they just didn't look like it tonight, and I dislike that the doom club have more ammo. BWitcher
Just back from a very very entertaining meeting. I notice a lot of folk who clearly weren't at the track asking why Watt wasn't in Heat 15... because he wouldn't have been good enough to get the job done is the simple answer. Holder's score was poor but he was involved in 3 hard races with Lindgren, with Lindgren riding very hard to shut the door on him out wide into 3 in both Heats 10 and 13 which sent Holder to the back. They were involved in another epic race in Heat 15 with Lindgren again just gaining the edge. Watt's score flattered him. He gated of the inside in Heat 1 and had Thorssell crawling all over him for 4 laps, with Holder right behind him.. PK, having lost some 30 yards on the 1st turns had caught right up to Holder. Heats 5 & 8 he again made good starts without looking fast. Heat 10 he was well adrift. Simply put, Holder and Janowski were far and away Pooles best hopes in Heat 15. The match winner for Wolves was Adam Royon, who riding Musielak's bike in Heat 12 pulled of a brilliant ride. Most Wolves fans had it down as a 5-1 to Wolves but Roynon popped out the gate and despite being passed at one point by Newman, he regained the lead and held it in style. PK rode a vintage race in Heat 13, picking of the improving Janowski, with Fred stuffing Holder at the back. Holder had words at the end of that race with Lindgren. Heat 15 was another great race, Wells gating, being passed by Janowski and Lindgren winning the duel with Holder. Holder wasn't happy, accelerating back to the pits and looked like almost collided with ambulance, having to broadside it to stop. All in all an excellent meeting, keenly fought with some decent racing throughout.
scottyfan
No they won't!!Don't like to say it ..............but.........I TOLD YOU SO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Should have jettisoned Holder,North and Gomolski and got Darcy Ward in........THEN Poole would have won!!!! Thems the breaks. Perhaps you coasted in the 2nd half believing the job was done. Let's face it most did. Wolves had to show some fight eventually so it's hardly anything to groan about. You got exactly what you deserved out of the meeting in the end. At least Leicester fall to the basement so there has to be something to be grateful for. CB252
As a neutral (that really wanted Wolves to win) I thoroughly enjoyed that. Decent racing on a superbly prepared track and a cracking last heat decider. I'll back middlo on the decision to put Holder in 15. I called it the same and would have done exactly the same. Holder lost out in a number of highly competitive heats, he was hardly dawdling round at the back out of contention. Fred and Wells would have beaten Watt easily in 15. As it was, Holder and fred fought out a great battle for the odd point until Holder lifted on lap three.

mdmc82
I kind of get Holder being in heat 15. Watt had scored well but that was at number 2 mainly riding against reserves and 2nd strings. I don't think Watt would have done any better in that heat. On a positive for Poole, another good night for Janowski and a solid effort from Starke. With regards to managers decisions, even though he was guesting, I'm surprised Clegg had all 4 rides when Roynon was looking stronger.

Fortress Wimborne Rd must be defended.

Correct. So used to it now from Adams.
