lino wolf
Remind me what the score was in the A fixture?? And it was the full Poole team bar Paul Starke (Lewis Rose guested for him) and Holder scored 14 riding at no.2!!!!!!! (55-38 in case you can't remember). Did Janowski ride ?? No Did Blackbird have his best outing at reserve and newman an off night ?? yes !! Janowski rides monday and you will surely hold your own at reserve (was 15-6 in wolves favour last time ) especially with blackbird out !! Our only chance is if fred and pk can find their form from the A fixture !!
g13webb
Even with the massive home advantage of their technical track, I can't see Wolves troubling Poole in what might be a one sided clash. All the pluses are in Poole's favour, For Wolves to have any hope, PK, FL and Musielak have to come good and support the vane efforts of Wells and Thorsell. But I think it will be too little too late....... Prediction: Poole by 10 (at least)............... Hope I'm wrong... It was not a full team, Josh G rode and got 3, i think a gp winner may get more than 3!! P.K and Freddie were riding better than they are now too, Blackbird is currently injured. stevebrum
2 predictions I think will be correct. 1. Wolves will continue the losing streak. 2. The terraces will be barren. Season is over for me that's the only certainty.
SteveLyric2
In the Peter Adams podcast on the Wolves website he reckons to be hopeful that Blackbird will be riding!!!? As far as Poole are concerned, if we don't get 7 league points this week expect MF to consider making a change (see Poole 2015 thread)!! foreverblue
And Magic's last 2 meetings at Wolverhampton he's scored 6 and 7.....so not much better!! Thats double what Josh got! and he will be better tomorrow i am sure, gp showed Holder and Magic in good form, Newman should clean up at reserve without Blackbird and Starke should beat Bates who only had 3 rides at Peterborough friday, don't know why that was. Seeing Bates at Lynn last week and again at Peterborough Friday, seems like he having a problem with his steel shoe. It was commented on, that in every race at Lynn his steel shoe came off. we had a laugh about it and sure enough in the next race it came off again.... and again.... Low and behold at EESG on Friday, we sarcastically said about his shoe, and you wouldn't believe that it came off again. and again..... So to answer your question about, having only 3 rides, probably he was so fed up with that bloody steel shoe, probably so 'pissed-off' with his shoe, he'd had enough

Gavan
And Magic's last 2 meetings at Wolverhampton he's scored 6 and 7.....so not much better!! thats true but.... now he is a better rider and boy he has mastered how to jump the start so if he gets away with a couple he will be fine
mdmc82
More bad luck for Wolves. Bates is ruled out with illness so max Clegg guests instead.
INCOGNITO
Wolves have relied too much on home form in recent years and at present under this ridiculous format they are not strong enough to challenge a top heavy team like Poole who will clearly be looking for at least three points here. Maciej has had a few poor rides at Monmore Green but has also had some good ones too and his confidence is sky high at the moment and top of the averages while Holder looks like his old self again each meeting he rides in . Watt and North have both done well in the past while Newman and Stark have both been neigh unbeatable around here in the past and should be looking at 5-1 wins in both reserve races. If it goes to form it will be about 38-52 but I can see Wolves making a fight of it and making it 46-44 either way Edited July 20, 2015 by INCOGNITO
Agrotron
Yeah Holder 13+1 in Poland yesterday looked quick
foreverblue
thats true but.... now he is a better rider and boy he has mastered how to jump the start so if he gets away with a couple he will be fine He has always been a pretty decent gater as far as i remember and that can only help, yes he jumps the start now and again but that is also not a bad thing because you rarely get excluded for it, so worse case is a re-run. We should win tonight but probably not as much as predicted because Gomolski won't score many so others have to cover but our reserves should do well although Roynon is a pretty good replacement for Blackbird.
