HadrianDog
As I said the other week ... no one wants to ride there. Can be bothered to learn how to ride a technical track more like.
spin king
As I said the other week ... no one wants to ride there. Get prepared to be called a armchair fan. To be fair this season the Newcastle track seems to have shown a lot of improvement.

Chewbacca
Give me a team which will be challenging and I for one will be back no problem - if not no chance and I bet there are more than a few with the same opinion. Speedway can't afford glory hunters unfortunately
Tigerite
Get prepared to be called a armchair fan. To be fair this season the Newcastle track seems to have shown a lot of improvement. First time we went up this season it was bumpy and rough and looked a real handful to ride. Last week it was as smooth as I've seen Brough Park and actually some good racing. Garrity was pulling lines i've never seen round that track.
Chewbacca
Cracking meeting by the way. Much better than the score suggests. The outside line was back. Hint to the promoters. I'd love to watch Hansen every week.
HadrianDog
There will always be good riders who prefer small tracks and good riders with a preference for larger tracks. Then there are the really good riders who can ride both. At the end of the day who wants to look mediocre on a track not suited to there riding style? Bet that Kenneth Hansen took his guest booking with a view to learning Brough. Its what proper riders do- learn and make money. Cracking meeting by the way. Much better than the score suggests. The outside line was back.Hint to the promoters. I'd love to watch Hansen every week. Think we tried for him as cover for Robson? a couple of years back, but average was too high. Perhaps the promotion are like minded?

acclennell
Speedway can't afford glory hunters unfortunately Speedway can't afford glory hunters unfortunately Call me a glory hunter if you like and since I hardly missed a meeting for 15 year home or away that is a load of crap. The reason I don't go is I do not agree with the current policy of the promotion and have not for a few year now. One thing is for certain the only way a speedway team will be operating in Newcastle beyond next year is if a team is put on the track which at the very least competitive as otherwise it's not only 'glory hunting' supporters who won't go but also a lot who have been going for years also. That is why crowds are totally down this year again and will continue to unless this changes. I'm not forking out good money to watch a team beaten most weeks and in my opinion not very entertaining either and if that upset some people tough. ruffdiamond
Yeah they had to go with RR for Josh Auty. It worked for them,,, 8 points, dunno if an even fit Auty would score that many
