Fair enough I stand corrected.

Though tbh still not sure how relevant Peter Cravens win in 1955 is to the aces ability to bring through young riders in 2015.

It's the usual Ouch/Drop a Cog nonsense.

Similar to when Drop a Cog preaches about Belle Vue winning the league 5 years in a row.

LOL!

That senility is kicking in again I see.

Ken Ayre won five titles on the trot riding for Belle Vue.

Indeed he did, two consecutive second division titles with the Belle Vue Colts followed by three consecutive first division titles with the Belle Vue Aces.

Two different teams in two different leagues.

You see, it isn't that difficult is it? We know what we're talking about even if poor old BWitcher doesn't eh?

You did have the benefit of reading one of my many posts on the subject though....

No need to thank me, they do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I'll take that even from you. Cheers!

Except you previously claimed that Belle Vue (and Ken Eyre) won 5 consecutive league titles. You now concede that , as per usual, you were talking crap

Are you schizophrenic?

Have you had a bang on the head.

Belle Vue Colts won 2 consecutive div 2 titles

Belle Vue Aces won three consecutive div one titles

Belle Vue Colts never won 5 consecutive titles

Belle Vue Aces never won 5 consecutive titles

Ken Eyre won back to back division 2 and division 1 titles

I typed it very slowly for you in the hope you understand and stop making a wally of yourself

ha ha ha

I told you Ken Eyre won five consecutive league titles while riding for Belle Vue and you have gone to the trouble of typing it out slowly ha ha!

By the way, don't you know what NB means? lol!

It is a description of you with a letter missing.

Using your logic Ivan Mauger, who has always only ever claimed 3 consecutive world titles can now lay clain to 4 consecutive world titles 1968 to 1971, well done Ivan

However - TWO + THREE = FIVE, does it not?

Come on Ian, we know DAC is stupid but I gave you a bit more credit.

They were two different teams in two different competitions. Neither the Aces or the Colts have won any more than three consecutive league titles

How it should be. Unfortunately today's young guys seem to think once they have bough a bike that it owes them a living

"That's you that is". The image is perfect lol!

I don't usually come into direct contact with people with learning difficulties but I appreciate that some people need to be able to apply a concept in a familiar and non threatening situation to be able to cope with it. I don't have a problem with suggesting Ivan won four world titles on the trot much like I don't have an issue with people who say Chris Morton was a multiple world champion. Both are fantastic achievements and should be celebrated.

If it helps you to cope then it's a win win as far as I'm concerned.

Also I'm pretty sure I've seen Ivan turn up at Belle Vue in a van with "Eight Times World Champion" written on it, no doubt changed to "nine times" at some point. It's a good job you didn't see it as you would have looked a bit silly arguing the toss with who I reckon is the greatest speedway rider in history, wouldn't you?

Quite and what a fantastic achievement it was and a credit to everyone involved at Belle Vue at the time.

Have you completely forgotten your original point.

Christ, it's only a bit of fun. I drag this one out every few years as some sort of pub quiz trivia. Looks like I misread the room. Edited by ouch
