SCB
Prob wont make any difference to the result but why was Morris used in heat nine?It amazes me how often we seen team managers giving riders all 4 rides. I understand if you're winning easily but otherwise it seems odd.
waiheke1
And he was actually used to REPLACE roynon, not even a case of the team manager just doing nothing. As you say it is common, and very odd.

I understand if you're winning easily but otherwise it seems odd. especially when there is genuine demarcation between the riders levels.... all year nielsen has had the same amount of rides as worrall for us.... tier one and tier two would appear to be a 'clue' as to their respective abilities you would have thought??? therefore why not use the more capable person to do the same job??? mdmc82
Congratulations King's Lynn. Good guest in Adam Roynon. Sounds like NKI had a brilliant night. Gutted for Belle Vue. So close to taking something from this meeting. Bad night at the office for Nicholls & Fricke. I hope Stefan is okay after his crash Edited July 22, 2015 by mdmc82
Aces51
Congratulations to King's Lynn on a solid performance. One or two Aces didn't perform as hoped but that happens to most teams in most away matches. Good to see Cook scoring well at a track where he is supposed to struggle and Zagar is having a good spell after his early season woes. stevec
Fair play to Buster and co for getting the match on. As a neutral I really enjoyed it and I must say I love the spectacle of seeing speedway at a big race track. Cannot believe Stefan got up from that, it had broken collar bone or shoulder written all over it.
tellboy
Quite a good meeting again considering what Buster had to do to get the meeting on after quite a lot of rain. Iversen was brilliant from the back again tonight, wish he would gate a bit more though. From 1-7 they all played their part tonight. Zagar and Cook were good for Belle Vue and also Josh G done his bit. I think Fricke must have a soft spot for Lynn having performed so well for us last week and was then disappointing this week Hope the Belle Vue fan doesn't wake up with bruised knuckles and a sore shoulder in the morning after watching him punch and barge into the catch fence.Clearly upset about his team not getting a point out of the meeting.Whether he was upset with Zagar going missing in heat 15 or Cookie getting overtaken by NKI I don't know. Nice to catch up with T.T again cant keep away from the place lately it seems.
Daniel Smith
I certainly enjoyed tonight's meeting. Some good racing with various racing lines. Iversen was absolute class tonight, making absolutely shocking starts in every heat but picked riders off with some great moves. Milik, Lambert & Porsing all battled hard for there points. Man, Bjerre is frustrating. 8+1 is absolutely more like it in terms of points return but tonight should easily of had double figures. If anyone shows him a wheel he backs out, twice tonight. Allowed Zagar through to easily in heat 6 but more importantly, in a critical heat 14 pretty much waved Cook round when leading with ease. Roynon, the lads nuts but I like him. Some good riding and with all he's been through wasn't frightened to get mixed up. Delivered the best interview of the season. When asked about his good start to tonight and guesting replied "love this track. I'm riding for Redcar in the Premier League but I absolutely hate it. It's great to get guest bookings at the bigger tracks like here. It's one of the best, even if it has tried to kill me a couple of times". Also like to add, the track. Again, another slick track offering which has provided much better entertainment to the masses. There lies the hidden Saddlebow secret. Buster, great turn around in track prep but maybe a slick track is what's required more often to provide the entertainment?!?

I was angry at both zagar and cook tbh Cook kept looking behind in most his races and that's when he starts dropping back. He should ride his own race. Saying that puk was fantastic and worth the admission money alone. For us so close to a much needed point as every match is massive for us. Nicholls disappointed tonight. Fricke is still young and learning and reserves did ok as did Josh. What was Roynon playing at tonight. 1st going unbeaten in first 2 races Then t-boning nielsen (unintentionally may I add) causing an allmighty pile up. How stef got up from that I'll never know. He's a tough lad. But for Adam to just pick his bike up and walk off was pretty disrespectful. He would be the last riser I would expect to do that

But as you say Roynon totally disrespected Steffen didn't give him a glance as Steffen laid on the track Roynon picked his self up and his bike and walked away more worried about his bike than Steffen . The meeting itself was top draw I thought good all round team performance from track prep to the team . Onwards to the play offs but we are not strong enough to go any further than the semi in my opinion.
g13webb
I don't apologise for being pessimistic, I feared your home record was at risk. With the quality of the opposition and the uncertainty of our riders returning from injury there were many questions. ..... But thankfully they were all answered emphatically Forgetting the hour we had to wait on the track, this was brilliant meeting, where the racing was superb. Even when scoring 3-3's the effort from all the riders was so evident. Part of me feels sorry for Belle Vue, doing their bit in a close match, but actually walk away with nothing. It was only in the last few heats, was the much needed win was secure, and in the last heat BV losing out on the 1 pts their performance deserved. The 3 riders returning from injury all came to the party and battled hard for their points. Lambert was obviously still suffering, but he produced 2 fantastic rides from the back. Porsing didn't disappoint with his Pd 7, while Milik battled tremendously for little reward. He was always in the mix and was as quick as the rest.... The reserves was always going to be our weakest link, thankfully Roynon managed to stem the tide, while Morris suffered with slow bikes....Worrall always goes well here as does Nielsen. Didn't appreciate Roynon attitude to Nielsen after their clash. makes me think they have previous somewhere. The team was led to victory by our Danish heat leaders. KB continued his improvement with valuable points in a meeting when points were hard to come by. To acclaim paid 9 from 4 rides was impressive. The Star performer, without doubt was Niels. Beaten in his first ride by the flying Zagar, he then collected 4 straight wins. Always missing the gate, he made light work of coming from the back in each, to win. Niels seems to get better with time.... an amazing performance..... In the end BV fell abit short of expectations. Some might say Nichols and Fricke didn't perform, but the truth was they fought tigerishly with little reward. In a tight and tense match it was hard to score those points that could have altered the outcome. But tonight it was the Lynn Stars that shone through. If all matches were this good, the terraces would be full.... Top Meeting
mdmc82
Feel for Belle Vue that they didn't get the point. To only miss out by a couple of points at King's Lynn shows the improvement in the teams away form. I think they should be able to pick up an away win against a struggling Wolves team in a couple of weeks esp with it being a track Nicholls,Cook & Worrall all enjoy. Daniel Smith
I don't believe there's any previous between Nielsen and Roynon, I think it's just a case that Roynon's been on the receiving end of so many big crashes he's just toughened up to the situations as being part and parcel of racing or he just doesn't deal to all with crashes mentally. Many rider's avoid going over and seeing injured riders for varying reasons so I don't think Roynon should be criticised for that.
Rob B
So frustrating to come away without a point again after keeping it close most of he meeting. Again showing how inconsistent we are everytime it's a different 2 riders not performing. Last time at Lynn and on Monday Nicholls and Fricke were our top 2, last night they were poor. If we could just get 6 riders going we would win most places. Kept up our record of scoring over 40 in every away meeting and shown again we can beat most teams over 2 legs. There is I'm afraid. 24th October 2012 here at King's Lynn when we hosted the Mildenhall v Dudley (Play-Off Final). Heat 15 saw the two riders involved in an incident with each other, which going from memory, Roynon either suffered a serious knee injury or broken leg, I can't remember which. Rob B
Also forgot to say I'm sure the track having to be re-prepared slicker made the racing better, if it had been the original high grip track Buster wanted wouldn't have seen racing like that.
whippy
I'd agree with that Aces51 Me too. We were at BV on Monday and KB did give it a go. His points tally or the teams does not show how hard they tried.
Rob B
Prob wont make any difference to the result but why was Morris used in heat nine? It was a good tactical move to stop us using the tactical in Zagar in Heat 10. Although I'm sure KL would have preferred a 3-3 to a 2-4.
