EC Rides Again
I know I said that I wouldn't post again but having viewed the videos I can reassure myself that I didn't imagine it all ! Thanks to Broadsider for the excellent footage. Interesting to see what those who weren't there last night make of it !
refereerick
To me as an impartial observer it looks plain to me that Tungate was crossing the finishing line as Auty was going into the first bend, Tungate kept it wound on round bends 1 & 2 and flicks his back wheel out at Auty on the start of the back straight! Can't see how Tungate can say Auty shut off as he went over the finish line and left Tungate nowhere to go! Guilty as charged M'lord.
pauliejaz
Doesn't look particularly deliberate to me, difficult to prove otherwise. Loved watching Tungate win heat 14 with everyone crying for someone to take him out.
Fozzie4388
The Video doesn't look good in Rohan's case In my opinion but the first video also shows how this situation wouldn't have happened had the ref excluded Auty in the first running. So basically it's what we knew already if the ref had done his job first time round none of it would have happened.
Super Blue
That footage is certainly inconclusive as far as both ht10 videos are concerned. Too far away and bad angles to see exactly what happened. Having requested videos be posted I'm none the wiser having seen them. Roland
As he well knows, I don't always agree with Baldy, but I'm going to agree for the second time in a month. Rohan did nothing wrong. He really needs to be appealing against his fine. I would have been furious if the Ipswich management had taken him out of his subsequent rides. Let's not forget.......it's not carpet bowls!
Bash
Agree Rohan didn't slow down & speed up again, he kept the throttle on to stay out of Davies way. I don't see what Ashley Morris did wrong in heat 14, where was the foot at Lunna's head. If they clashed after the line that happens, as they both crossed the line close together. Must admit there was some nice choice language from the people around you, good example for the kids. Have you got the footage of the Wilkinson incident or the sit in?

ScottSquirell
Tungate accelerated out of turn two to intentionally knock Auty off. Simple as that! Tungate should be banned from British speedway. Edited July 18, 2015 by ScottSquirell
Steve Irving
As a supporter of neither club, I've got to be honest I'm unsure after watching it several times. I wouldn't categorically say 100% that he intended to knock Auty off.
lucifer sam
Oh my word, Tungate actually speeds up coming out of the bend, before flicking out his wheel out at Auty. All the best Rob
EC Rides Again
It's amazing how watching the same footage can produce such diverse conclusions. As someone much wiser than me once (nearly) said; "There are three versions of everything, mine, yours and the truth".
mdmc82
From watching that video, it doesn't look good for Tungate. Looks like he did it on purpose

MrMungo
Oh my word, Tungate actually speeds up coming out of the bend, before flicking out his wheel out at Auty. All the best Rob I've watched it 3 times and I really can't see that! Looks like he maintains a consistent speed. I think he priobably just wanted to get back to the pits as soon as possible to see if he get back on his other bike that was a bit tangled up from the heat 10 crash. Thanks to Broadsider for the uploads - I actually missed the incident at the time.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Thanks for the video links - very interesting. Certainly don't think that its conclusive that's Rohan meant to knock off Auty. Far from it from the point of view of finding him guilty. Had he have knocked off the throttle 5/10 metres earlier what would have happened? The back wheel stops spinning and he shoots forward and would plough straight into Auty who is almost at a standstill before bend 2. So he keeps it wound on to keep sliding but still doesn't manage to keep inside a coasting Auty. Only Rohan really knows the truth. Benefit of the doubt stays with him for me. Re Ash and Lunna. Where on earth the comment made that he tried to kick him in the head came from is laughable - its barely off the foot peg!!
Baldyman
How many of you have ever gone over a finishing line flat out and then 2 wheeled round the first and second bends? The bike wants to go towards the fence, which it did. He may have flicked his back wheel out in anger, but no way did he mean to take him off
Super Blue
I suppose after watching it a few more times I do finally have to admit that it's totally the ref's fault for not excluding Auty in the first place. If by what we've seen Tungate is deemed to have hit Auty deliberately then the same camera view evidence must also conclude that he hit Tungate deliberately and should not even have been in the rerun. Therefore in conclusion me-lord I call for the accused to be completely exonerated and the referee to be locked up for a minimum of 10 years without parole. I rest my case . Albert
The video of morris kicking out on the line ... they passed in a flash, the angle/speed and video quality just doesn't give a clear view of what happened... Im clear in my own mind, had a great view of it. Any footage of the Nielsen/Wilkinson incident?
Shrimmy
You can clearly HEAR that tungtwat twists the throttle as he approaches auty !!
