IW08
Scunthorpe got their wish then. I'm not excusing what Tungate did, but a sit-down protest is truly pathetic.

screm
This might put a hole in Tungate`s efforts of making a 7pt average for 2016.

topaz325
Strange the ref and the clerk of the course say they never saw the incident...... Rob Godfrey "Fair enough a bit of fisticuffs after the race which is just "handbags" Speedway is lacking a bit of that nowadays in my opinion but this was stepping way over the line".......mmmm. 2ndbendbeerhut
So what happens to morris and lunna? Also to Scunthorpe after their sit down protest.....
TheSpecialOne
The ban only covers 2 home and 2 away meetings. The home meetings are against poor, weak opposition Worky and Scunthorpe. The away meetings are Somerset tomorrow (likely to be rained off) and Plymouth. Guest facility to cover Tungates absence. Probably makes the Witches stronger in the away meeting(s).

screm
why - you cant drop points when youre not riding! That`s quite right, but those meetings, it appears to be four, would`ve given Tungate four opportunities to get his average up to the required level, and lets face it some of his scores this season haven't exactly been brilliant have they. Baldyman
So how was this done then if they couldn't use the video evidence and the ref didn't see it?
Super Blue
So somebody's inconclusive and allegedly inadmissible evidence has been used to convict a rider. It brings the sport (and I use the word sport in the loosest sense) into disrepute. Farcical.
Gavan
Using a guest may make us stronger away from home. Chris Louis said there is further stuff to come so this isn't over yet
Chris Brown
Scunthorpe got their wish then. I'm not excusing what Tungate did, but a sit-down protest is truly pathetic. Saw that picture in the Speedway Star and thought they looked like a couple of stroppy kids. Since when has it been OK for a promoter to lead that sort of protest. Doesn't seem right to me whatever he may think
