stratton
You have to laugh at some of the comments on here even people who have watched the video seem to have no idea. From the video it's blatantly obvious. Tungate decided after the race to give Auty a spray of shale maybe a small nudge. It wasn't an accident and I also doubt he meant to knock him off just sort of warn him after the dangerous move he pulled on Tungate in the first running. A fine is acceptable but the plums saying he should have been thrown out is laughable. Auty is a liability on a bike and dangerous and Tungate isn't the first rider to voice his opinionlol you really believe the rubbish you post. Cookie went after Barker shouting and swearing asking for a punch up. Even after the dust had settled he was still smashing the place up so was thrown out due to his aggressive conduct and the safety of other riders. If you believe that what Tungate did was violent and aggressive then your not that intelligentYou say Auty is a liability and dangerous a tad strong in my opinion!if so is Pedersen? is FIsher? is KIldemand ? (i have seen him at times totally out of control.I am bias i am a big fan of Auty, and i believe he should of been excluded from the first staging of the race not that he did anything badly wrong. But he mistimed his manoeuvre Auty the way he rides is hit/ miss his pass early on this year on Stead ( who had been flying) was sublime but in racing there is a risk that is why I believe Josh is such an exciting rider to watch. What i am saying Gavan is the Scunny fans no more than anyone if Josh is a liability, i think most would say not and he is a one hundred per racer no malice total 100 per cent commitment i can't ask anymore than that.

Roland
And it goes on, 22 pages of drivel, mostly from people who really haven't a clue. Let's hope the weather stays fine, Rugby is even worse in the rain. Be interesting to see how this all pans out?

Halifaxtiger
Admit that auty was lucky not to be excluded but it was a racing incident nothing more ! Your view of that incident was quite possibly the only place in the stadium that was better than mine. You need to check out the definition of "birds eye" To be fair, Shads, while birds eye is a little optimistic his view was raised (the verandah of the bar between the first/second bends) and given that the incident took place on the exit of the second bend probably the best position to give judgement on what happened. I'm not questioning that. I'm questioning the terminology.
OILYRAG
Who Tungate ran into is completely irrelevant. I think the point made by some - including me - is that Auty did exactly the same thing during the first running and has a reputation for it. No-one wants to see a rider injured, but someone prepared to make reckless moves that result in crashes for others might just think twice about doing it again if they are on the receiving end. Exactly the same thing ?????? Auty's was a racing incident , Tungate's was premeditated thuggary ! Tungate went from gate one to the airfence taking Autys line ... then Auty to avoid crashing into him tries to cut back inside him and clips Tungates bike and should probably have been excluded , Tungate actually put the gas on to back wheel Auty AFTER THE RACE ! You sure it was exactly the same thing ? Edited July 19, 2015 by OILYRAG

Roland
He'll back his riders and management to the hilt, rightly so! Unlike many posters on here is does know what he's talking about. I look forward to reading what he's got to say in the morning. It will be some relief as opposed to bo))0cks I've been reading on here.

robert72
What Greg did was far worse than what tungate allegedly did but Greg was a hero in a lot of people's eyes for what he did so it's sad how popularity can change opinions on right from wrong. ZODIAK
So you agree that his statement is a waste of time ? Louis? He's not making any kind of official "statement". The local rag in Ipswich have contacted him and asked for his views, for the local paper. Nothing more nothing less. Ok you're not interested in what he's got to say, but plenty of us are!
