Sheffield V Glasgow Plc Semi Final Second Leg 16/7/2015

Recommended Posts

The 2 Tigers have very patched up teams for this one:

SHEFFIELD:

1) Brady Kurtz (Guest)

2) Ashley Birks (R/R)

3) David Bellego

4) Thomas Jorgensen (Guest)

5) Jason Garrity

6) Arthur Sissis

7) Josh Bates

GLASGOW:

1) Ricky Wells (Guest)

2) James Sarjeant

3) Aaron Summers

4) David Howe (R/R)

5) Richard Lawson

6) Nike Lunna (Guest)

7) Richard Hall (Guest)

Glasgow have a 14 point lead after the first leg so overall this will be very tight especially with no tactical rules. This should be a cracker of a meeting

Perhaps topic should be renamed "SHEF v GLA" ?

It's hard to maintain team enthusiasm/loyalty when only half the riders are actual team members. Let's hope Dick/Aaron/James don't get injured or next three days will be totally farcical for Weegie Tiggs.

A very difficult meeting for Glasgow to get through now. Wells for Morris makes us pretty weak at No1. A lot could depend on which Richard Hall turns up, avoiding last places is crucial.

Kurtz will be superb round Sheff and an in form Jorgensen will also score well. Hopefully he who can't behave himself actually does and everyone stays save as a result.

What a crying shame that what should, IMO anyway, be a meeting between two top and very exciting teams is marred by injury and retirements :( If the real Richard Hall turns up Glasgow are laughing, if the one that has been riding for Berwick turns up then Sheffield should be fine.

Wells can be pretty decent round Sheffield.

If the Sheffield reserve pairing ride to their usual standard and Lunna and Hall ride like they have on their previous visits to Owlerton this year, then that should swing it in Sheffields' favour. Wells was good when he came with Worky a few weeks ago, but no where near the quality of Brady Kurtz.

GLASGOW in the final

We are now well done boy's dug deep when we had to hopefully we can get back to a full septet soon don't think the texter is a Lawson fan dirty rider Rich is most definitely not but job done with a weakened team hopefully the Monarchs in the final with all due respect to Ipswich but that would be a corker.

Also well done to Ricky Wells scored valuable points to keep us in front :t:.
