Berwick V Edinburgh Sat 18th

Recommended Posts

The GP heat that you have posted is against 3 EL heat leader quality riders, one ride when everyone else was on their fourth, also 2 years ago.

Kind of difficult to draw any conclusions about that: well, not about the rider, at least.

Although, you might be saying he is of comparable standard to that of Lamber and Garrity. So, I apologise if that was your intention.

Don`t want your apologies, by your own admission you know little or nothing about him so I was posting a video so you could see the new rider in action. Forget about his opposition, he looked tidy enough on the bike and I wish him all the best for the rest of the season with us.

Well from the 5 races I've seen on Youtube he's at the back in 4 of the 5 but 2nd in the last one beating rohan behind smoli....

Not the quickest trapper it would seem, looks woeful at Lonigo, Howarth beat him by good distance...

That being said good scores in Sweden I'll do more viewing and scrutinise his youtube racing history

But to answer your question Scott, I would say in between 6 and 7 probably closer to 7 but you never know

Never can tell until a rider has a few meetings under their belt, I guess.

just been talking to some folk who watch the Euro speedway, like yourself, and they say he has plenty of ability.

Like you say, a very positive move.

Very kind of you, but I was able to find the video, it is difficult to gauge from the odd YouTube video, hence my reason for asking Robin. To get an informed opinion.

Your initial response has taken the breath away from quite a few folk!

Nice to see you have calmed down a bit and eating your humble pie, like a good boy should.

Thanks Robin, so roughly on a par with Aspegren?

Very good if that is the case.

I'd be more than happy with between 6 and 7 with the potential to build on once he gets settled in, could be a solid heat leader for us next season. Nice to have someone at the top end of the team who is a berwick asset.

What do you mean spin?

Spin on what?

If you can count, you should be able to make a rough estimate of how many post on here, and how many go on a Saturday.

Even at the extremes: 20 on here, 200 on a Saturday.

Doesn't take much gumption, IMO.

Apologies it slipped my mind that you are still in your virtual world.

Damn, I came on here to find out more about the new rider, now I find the same person being as childish as on the Berwick thread, are you going to mark my grammar as well.

I find the Screm posts generally quite informative also helpful, it does appear that a certain BigeddIecheck has a personal problem with the said Screm.

No no no, don't agree with me, its part of the game.

As for anyone having personal issues, there is an ignore feature on this forum which is easy to use.

I presume you are a friend of the other fellow, you can't all be this childish up in the Berwick area.

It's pathetic enough you come on here slating Berwick as a club, so much so you now attend Newcastle, don't come on and start insulting the people of Berwick as well or some might start wondering what your motives are.

If Berwick causes you so much strife maybe best to just leave it be.

Now let's talk about the match.

Tungate was electric last weekend, he should score a fair bit for us.

Thornblom, new to the track could take a bit of time to get dialled in, so don't know what to expect, but looking forward to seeing him in action.

I'm sure he will get the legendary 3rd bend welcome!

Alex and Richard were in better form at Rye, hoping for more points than last Saturday.

TJ and Doolan, well, what is there to say about these two guys? Been excellent all season.

Coty has been exciting and great to see him progressing. I fancy he will get a few points on Saturday.

The Monarchs are a tasty outfit, so I think this is going to be a close one, but hopefully we'll get back to winning ways at home.

Pity that Masters is out, very exciting rider around Shielfield. I suppose Cook is not bad too, though.

Ha a shot in the EL with Coventry but wasn't quite ready , might be now, if he does a 5 I think he will have done well.

Does this mean he is a Coventry asset then? Or did he not ride enough meetings? Just I've read in various posts that he will be come a Berwick asset.

I hear that Edinburgh have Liam Carr as a guest at number 7

This would sum speedway up in a nutshell
