Marcelle
Â Chris Morton and his partner(s) have already been to look at tracks, including Torun, to take ideas to BV new track. There is going to be banking, the track is as big as it can be to fit the space, even to an extent there will be no stands on one corner, and it will be a widish track. ......................... Quote ..... "The icing on the cake for Tai , imo would be something from the queen in her birthday honour's list. For what he has achieved world champ again, and his charity work..." Didn't someone say when it was being discussed last week that not only Tai didn't sing the national anthem, but talked through it.... that it might come back and bite him one day. Maybe that day will be when the Queen sits down and thinks, ah! Tai Woffinden.... wasn't he the one who talked through the national anthem. Now should I or should I not. Just thinking aloud. Personally Joe, I couldn't care less if he F@rts the national anthem, as long as He wins the World Title...The Rugby Players belted out the anthem...and still Fecking lost....Its not important...not to me anyway, nor to many others.. Â just thinking out loud!
Humphrey Appleby
Agree, I`d be amazed if she has ever heard of Tai Woffinden, though to be fair to her she has lost all her local tracks and would have to get over to Lakeside of a Friday night to see some speedway, and the traffic will be abysmal. I believe Slough is close to Windsor though...

Reviresco
Of course, when HRH is in residence on the Sandringham Estate, Kings Lynn is just down the A149 and when she spends a week at Holyroodhouse, her own team, the Monarchs, is a short hop along the M8. Â Must be a speedway supporter having so many of her homes near tracks.
A ORLOV
Would one's Corgi's be permitted/admitted. Only for the dog racing, when Phillip kicks them up the arse they can arf run. Edited October 4, 2015 by A ORLOV
screm
Maybe HRH could take over at Berwick, no stately homes but I`m sure we can sort a chalet out for her.
Fromafar
Fantastic GP,that was real speedway on a great track ,just shows what the fans are missing when the riders can show their real skills without hitting ruts on all these Mickey Mouse temporary tracks. No falls or crashes either.Well done to Tai.
frigbo
Brilliant meeting with a Pedersen win to ice the cake. Â Sadly the sport rarely hits such levels of its potential.
Terry
Can you imagine how great the gp season would be if every round was in Torun!
PHILIPRISING
Can you imagine how great the gp season would be if every round was in Torun! GORZOW was pretty special too
Trees
Wouldn't it be great if they only chose good racing tracks for the series, that should be a condition. Might cut it down to less rounds 😆
bigcatdiary
A good Grand Prix with plenty of excellent racing but it was apparent that Torun wasn't a sell out, a friend who went said it was only about two thirds full which was surprising. Â Last time I went it was rammed and it had the middle area crammed with people standing. Â Is it getting too expensive or was their another reason. Panthers89
Crowd was pretty average, agree was two thirds full. Was expecting a lot more atmosphere aswell. Â Certainly would go back though. Stewards are assholes mind and useless.

racers and royals
Â Thought it was reported there were only 1,000 tickets left... That was me looking at the ticket website on Saturday dinner-time just after they had gone off sale. Sure it said 1000 left-maybe that was the standing tickets. PHILIPRISING
WONDER whether Torun crowd was affected by it not being the last round of the series. Certainly couldn't blame the weather.  To answer Trees point about tracks ... had Chris Holder as a guest at a TravelPlus form on Saturday morning which, by the way, raised £1,300 for Darcy Ward.  Chris reiterated the view of many if not all of his SGP colleagues that they love going to the big stadiums in the big cities. These are the real major events for them, he said, and that a mix with traditional speedway venues like Torun, Gorzow and Malilla was perfect. He also praised the temporary tracks this year, apart from Warsaw of course, and cannot wait to race at the Etihad in Melbourne.  But even he doubted whether it would top Cardiff which, he said, was the biggest night of a rider's career.
