eric i
Seems there have been a lot of injuries this year, some will say there are always lots of injuries in speedway and its not getting worse. If people could post a list of injuries sustained by their team and I will compile a list of injuries to riders who ride in the British league, that way in future we will have something to compare it to. Scunthorpe Josh Auty: Broken hand (missed 10) Ryan Douglas: Fractured vertebrae (missed 6) Coventry BeesStuart Robson: Concussion, Arm & Leg injuries (missed 6)James Sarjeant: Shoulder injury, badly bruised ribs, arm injury (missed 6)Hans Andersen: Broke his finger Jason Garrity: Knee injury Coventry StromLuke Crang: Shoulder blade injury (still out injured)Connor Dwyer: knee injury (still out injured) Berwick Bandits Ben Barker: Back injuries (out for season) Claus Vissing: knee ligaments (still out) Hynek Stichaur: Broken ankle (still out) Matic Voldrih: Broken leg (out for season) Edited July 12, 2015 by eric i

kelvinht
What would be a good idea would be to know the circumstances of the accidents (including track/weather conditions) and where they took place, then this could be turned into a useful thread by seeing what could be done to improve safety. There is the obvious issue of air fences that lift on impact from bikes and riders then follow in and hit a hard barrier (Rory, Hampel, etc). Are there any more common threads, do any particular tracks/conditions attract more issues...?
Lord Skid
Crap silencer on crap track is a fairly high common denominator. Edited July 13, 2015 by Lord Skid
