Berwick Bandits Vs Ipswich Witches 11th July

Recommended Posts

Can the Bandits bounce back this Saturday against the Witches especially after two back to back defeats....

I have heard on the grapevine we've got our reserve from last year at Number One Matey Kus? no complaints from me

While Jorgenson and Doolan are doing admirable jobs we could do with Claus VIssing back in the ranks.

Garcia probably will make a good reserve certainly at home in time...

Hall I can only presume is struggling , he's much better than Wed night

Give Liam till the season's end local lad he might not be a Grigorij Laguta but he will give his best....

Witches are in decent form....

Big meeting for the Bandits... It is winnable however a challenging fixture list awaits

Tough one to call - Berwick on the back foot after poor performances but surely looking for a backlash.

Witches improved but not yet fully fluent and needing to pick up points to put themselves back in the picture as challengers.

Agree with Baldyman that should be disappointed if they fail to get even a point.

Hoping for more but not confident or expecting it.

Up the Witches!!

Huge meeting in the context of the season for Berwick this, a second home defeat in the space of a week could have a devastating effect on crowd levels, as we saw at the start of the season after defeats to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Danny King will take a lot of stopping, Manzares and Tungate are good heat leaders and I was very impressed with Stefan Nielsen when Ipswich were up in the Cup. Just glad they won't have Richie Hawkins this time.

Which Berwick will turn up? which Richard Hall will turn up? which Matej Kus will turn up? You know what you will get from TJ and the captain, they have been brilliant this season. Garcia needs time, but you can see improvements. One for next season. Will Edberg be back?

Sadly another meeting i will miss, for what it's worth should be a close meeting all depends on the reserves and what you get from the dreaded r/r. But on balance 44----46.

Sadly? thought you were prefering to go out for pints with your family??? pity you couldnt bring them along to the speedway?

Correct, they have no interest in speedway whatsoever, or i would, don't want to bring them along under sufference. Perhaps I would if i din't like them :D

I will still miss speedway though, have to priorotise, family come first.. You can can count on one hand how many meetings I have missed in 15 years.

Big meeting for Berwick, especially after going down at home last Wednesday. I am sure Hall cant have three poor meetings and a row, so should get back to his good scoring, but his reserve partner needs to prove himself. He has had his critics in recent days, the best to answer them is with big scores on track.

If Berwick are to win this then both of their reserves need to step up , you can't win meetings with both riders at the bottom end not scoring

Especially when we are running R/R, a defeat tonight would almost certainly end any hopes of a play-off finish.
