Grachan
Clearly Swindon fans don't. True though. Just for the record: Well done Darcy on getting 15 last night. You da man, Darcy. A true Robins legend.

Starman2006
We would say the reserves have cost us again. No one has blamed Ward for anything last night. He did more than expected first meeting back. But end of the day we lost so negatives get focused on rather than positives. That's sport! At least you've said what others should have said, its down to dear old uncle Rosco to sort that, but after tomorrow night please..
double_O
He scored them 15 points, what do you want blood ? What will Swindon fans be saying tomorrow when he does his bit and they lose ? What after scoring 15 points, clearly you are on another planet.. They lost - fact He fell whilst they were on a 5-1 in heat 13 - fact He netted 12 points off 6 rides which equates to 8.00 average - fact

Bryn
I'm nearly 70, it seems I should write my memoirs, particularly in the 1960s. Most of you innocent lot would probably cream your pants reading it and I never thought it was out of the ordinary or particularly outrageous. Good post ff - oh for the squeeky clean days of three day Northern tours e.g. Edinburgh, Berwick & Glasgow for southern clubs where riders and supporters stayed in the same hotels eh? And, no doubt, northern clubs / fans enjoyed similar trips to the south. Edited July 12, 2015 by Bryn

You really do deserve sod all.You win as a team and you lose as a team. It's not always about one rider. Zengota is riding just as well every week for Swindon but I don't see him getting the same hype. I'm sure Swindon fans with appreciate the whole team rather than treat one as God like you do. He did really well scoring 15 points last night but unfortunately he also conceded a 5-0 which was critical to the meeting so maybe Leicester fans could thanks him for that Edited July 12, 2015 by mdmc82

Again you jumped on the worst post you could find without reading the thread. I thought only Gavan did that.. Shame on you.. Its a TEAM game so the others need to sort themselves out, otherwise dear old uncle Rosco could be welding the whip.. but after tomorrow night would be nice.. I could have picked any of your posts and they still would have been just as bad to be fair. 😉 You could do will taking a note out of Steve0 book as he thanks the whole team. Every point makes a difference. Back to tomorrow's meeting, Great to see Hans guesting. Makes Swindon stronger. Yes at Present the reserves are a bit of a concern, However Newman hasn't been in his usual good form of late so hopefully it will be the same tomorrow. Grachan
Hey, guess what! Rain forecast for tomorrow. (Edit - well it is on Met Office anyway. Accuweather looks better, so let's go with that one instead) Edited July 12, 2015 by grachan

Its called a TEAM game, and it doesn't just stop at the riders. Your lot would do well to bare that in mind before you get carried away.. You ain't won nothing yet, bare that in mind also. Gavan
I'm not criticing Darcy but this isn't the 70s. The reason why people pick on Darcy is probably because they know (but won't admit) that he a natural on a speedway bike and his off track antics are letting him down. Also just because others have transgressed isn't justification for Darcy's antics. The best way for Darcy to silence the critics is to do his talking on the track and behave himself off it - I think some people are looking for some remorse too but I think he has learned his lesson. I agree totally with what you said. But still there are those so blinkered they see his off track antics as ' mistakes' Darcy rode well on his first match back but didnt actually ride to his average and turning a potential match winning 5-1 into a 0-5 cost the Robins dear. He does at times have issues staying on the bike. As i said its a good signing for Swindon but i doubt it will make them play off contenders

Our local forcasters on the BBC try and forcast 7 days ahead, jeez, the can't even forcast the following day properly, so what chance 7 days !! And that's not a dig at your hero before you post some rubbish reply. As you well know I have always stuck up for him, certainly long before he was ever linked with Swindon. I'm glad he's at Swindon and that our inevitable mid table finishing position will be made a hell of a lot more entertaining each week knowing we get to see watch him for a few months.
