mdmc82
DUH, again, a classic case of somebody taking the bits out of a post to suit themselves.read the thread, it seems many on here have a problem with that. Ask SCB. Read the thread. Is somebody still a little sad that Ward is having fun at Swindon 😩
Red Panda
Alan Boon has asked me to post the following. ------------- Â I see the BSF has exploded in outrage at me wishing DEATH on someone. Yet, as usual, the "speedway family" doesn't quite get it. Let me explain... Â There's a poster on Twitter called Robin. He's a Poole fan. I don't know if he posts on here so I won't give his full name because that's a dick move. Anyway, we have a back and forth, usually him getting mock (I think?) offended about things I say about Poole, and also him trying to get a rise out of me when he says I HAVEN'T been offended by something he thinks I probably should have been. Â So to play the game I post ever-more outrageous comments. Last night was one of those. Then he retweeted it, because perhaps he wasn't playing the same game I thought he was and ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE. Well, a few people got offended. Â Now IF I did want a certain person to die is entirely my own prerogative. Do I want to kill him? No. Would I intervene if someone else was killing him? Yes. Would I do a little dance if I heard he died? No. Would it really bother me? No, not really. Â But the "speedway family" has to have its outrage and it has to have it in the most unlikely places. I've never fled from police whilst on drugs. I've never been on trial for sexual assault. I've never been caught drunk driving. I've never been thrown out of a bar in Poland for pissing in public. I've never been punched unconscious outside a pub which closed two hours earlier. I've never had to be breathalised before doing my job because my behaviour the night before was suspicious. And that's just half of the things he's done. Â No, all I've done is write a few things that some people don't like because they have a different opinion to me. And some of things weren't even meant in the way the "speedway family" took them. But you carry on being outraged, it'll hide the real problems in this sport. I was told when I was young that if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all............he really wants to keep his mouth shut............. Â Oh and while I am at it there are several people when on certain subjects particularly Darcy and Poole who try and bend the truth to suit their purpose without knowing the full facts...............I think the people who think they know it all (I don't pretend that I do know it all because I don't) should put their own teams in order before criticising others................. Â If it was someone wishing me dead I would consider that a threat against me................and threatening behaviour is not acceptable at any level............I would be looking at some form of legal action against the person concerned..............and before anyone even contemplates that as a joke I have had to take legal action against someone who made threats to kill me and my family............... Crazy robin
Probably because their not very high in the league and Darcy riding is always exciting The track is a bore fest as well which is such a shame as everything else their is great.
robert72
The track is a bore fest as well which is such a shame as everything else their is great. You are spot on but DH thinks it's the best track in the country so won't change it,however it's a shame for the lions fans that sky don't do a match where they are the visitors even. Â Every other team but Leicester on sky sports or the darcy ward channel lol
Gemini
I think Sky generally want matches where the visitors at least stand a chance of winning, which unfortunately Leicester probably don't. Anyway, they've already been to Beaumont Park once and we're in the same boat at Coventry with only one visit. Boat being rather appropriate on that occasion. Rob VDS
As the 'Robin' in question in Alan Boon's statement (not sure how to include it in my post as I only joined today!), I just want to clarify the position from my perspective. I'll keep it short. Â I agree with much of what Alan says; although we appear to view life completely differently and are unlikely to agree on much, I like his tweets and as he says, we've had a few back and forths, all in reasonably good humour. The reason I retweeted the comment in question was not that it offended me, we have all seen far worse on social media to be honest, although I did express disappointment as I felt it was a step too far. I retweeted it as I had witnessed, in the few weeks leading up to his return, a few Coventry fans stating they would never want DW at their club as the Bees and their fans 'have morals', and as a fairly prominent Bees fan on Twitter, I felt Alan's comment contradicted this view greatly. It was not meant as a criticism of Alan, more as a statement to those few Cov fans to get off their high horse. Â As a final point, my tweet to him which led to his comment was a response to him congratulating the polish fans on the banners, and merely stated i doubted whether it would bother DW at all. mdmc82
Will we see some EF so Ward can keep Ford happy if he wants to return to Poole next year? Rob VDS
I hope not, and I doubt it to be honest. He didn't have a good night in Poland yesterday so if he has an off night it should be treated as such unless it's glaringly obvious! PHILIPRISING
Understand the Sky viewing figures for Ward's return with Swindon against Poole were over 50,000 above average.

Another swipe from the man with the black book against Poole.
SCB
Â Yeh you probably would.. But if your promotion wanted to sign one of these Aussies you'd bleat like mad his average is to high. Another swipe from the man with the black book against Poole. Just a long memory. Remember when Coventry wanted to sign Kenni Larsen and Shamek Pawlicki on a 50% converted PL average of about 4.5 and a 4.00 assesed average and between them Adams, Pratchet and Ford hatched a plan to make them 5.8 and 6.5?! And it nearly led to my club being closed down? Yeah, so forgive me if I'm still bitter and I'm happy to see others get their own back!
