Red Panda
Rich area.......................yes there are some who are but the majority of us are not.................the majority of us struggle with not having had a pay rise for 6 years and him indoors has had a minimal one for the first time in 5 years this month...............the cost of living gets higher but wages do not increase.............I cannot afford to go to every meeting much as I would like to.............its a choice of speedway or having enough food at the end of the month...................not all of us are on £50k a year salaries.............we don't even earn that between us not by a long chalk............ There are families that I know that are struggling more than we are so before you go saying its a very rich area think again..............don't bracket us all the same........... RP PS I guess now is not a good time to say I got into Poole Speedway at kids rate until I was 21................ Poole is a rich area compared to other areas where there is speedway, I am not saying people don't struggle in poole but looking at the area around poole to areas around a few other tracks, its posh. blimey you getting in for kids price at 21 is amazing, see you can all afford plastic surgery down there to look younger hehe Oh Please no.................not the dreaded plastic surgery................not a cat in hells chance of that ever happening...........I am all me............I may be 21 with 30+ years experience but I can still pass for under 40 and get ID'd for buying drinks.............. BritPete
That was a disgusting thing to say, regardless of anything. I seem to recall someone getting a life ban on here for saying a similar thing, and that's exactly what Boon should be getting from Twitter. I don't suppose it will happen though, because it seems you can say anything you want to on Twitter. SpecialOne
Frankly, anyone who has defending some of the things Darcy has done surely cannot condemn a few words on Twitter, can they?! Totally disgusting defending the comments, just shown you are not a speedway fan at all. The sport would be a better place without the likes of you. The great SCB who can do no wrong getting a roasting, thats a first... A roasting? It's a few written words on the internet. Unlike some delicate little flowers I couldn't give a rubbish. And you know what, I doubt Darcy gives one either than someone on twitter has said they hope he dies soon. People really need to get a little perspective. What is the nastiest and most harmful thing that can come of a few nasty comments online? hurt feelings? What if someone says no to sex but someone still does it? What if someone rides a bike high on drugs? What if someone rides a bike drunk? Alan Boons comments will NOT lead to death, yet Darcys actions getting on a bike with drugs and alcohol in his system, they could lead to death. Tell you what, ban Alan Boon from twitter for a couple of weeks, then we can all have a heros welcome when he returns in a few weeks time. FWIW, I think wishing death on someone is childish. Yeh of course you couldn't. Little tetchy arn't we. There was no foundation in his sex case, he was CLEARED. Do you know what actually went on, was you their ? Riding a bike Drunk, you really have a vivid imagination don't you. Sod what Alan Boon says, you seem to have an issue with Darcy, he's served his time, he's learn't a very big lesson he's scored the best part of 40 odd points in his first 3 meetings, the majority of fans are happy to give the bloke the benifit of the doubt that he's now learn't his lesson and believe me, he is full of remorse, Swindon will now get the benifit untill the end of the season but clearly you are not interested. Isn't it a good job he didn't go on loan to you lot, id hate to think what you would have done wilth an attitude like yours. Man with the little black book getting the hump because somebodys had a dig at him. clearly you obviously think your beyond all that. as the saying goes, you like to dish it, but when somebody has a dig at you, you can't take it. Two completely different things.

Your last statement is defending what boon said, i know he is a friend of yours but those comments were in extremely bad taste and speedway would be far worse without riders like Darcy.
SCB
Alan Boon has asked me to post the following. ------------- I see the BSF has exploded in outrage at me wishing DEATH on someone. Yet, as usual, the "speedway family" doesn't quite get it. Let me explain...There's a poster on Twitter called Robin. He's a Poole fan. I don't know if he posts on here so I won't give his full name because that's a dick move. Anyway, we have a back and forth, usually him getting mock (I think?) offended about things I say about Poole, and also him trying to get a rise out of me when he says I HAVEN'T been offended by something he thinks I probably should have been.So to play the game I post ever-more outrageous comments. Last night was one of those. Then he retweeted it, because perhaps he wasn't playing the same game I thought he was and ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE. Well, a few people got offended. Now IF I did want a certain person to die is entirely my own prerogative. Do I want to kill him? No. Would I intervene if someone else was killing him? Yes. Would I do a little dance if I heard he died? No. Would it really bother me? No, not really. But the "speedway family" has to have its outrage and it has to have it in the most unlikely places. I've never fled from police whilst on drugs. I've never been on trial for sexual assault. I've never been caught drunk driving. I've never been thrown out of a bar in Poland for pissing in public. I've never been punched unconscious outside a pub which closed two hours earlier. I've never had to be breathalised before doing my job because my behaviour the night before was suspicious. And that's just half of the things he's done. No, all I've done is write a few things that some people don't like because they have a different opinion to me. And some of things weren't even meant in the way the "speedway family" took them. But you carry on being outraged, it'll hide the real problems in this sport. foreverblue
So a bit of a know-it-all then!!? What are the other half of the things that Darcy has supposedly done? Darcy has never said he would want someone to die. So every time Darcy's name is mentioned we are to expect everything he has done wrong or supposed to have done wrong to be brought up to justify what someone else has said, never mind he has served his ban for being over the limit and in the other cases been cleared on any wrongdoing. You've got nothing nice to say about Darcy, so we would suggest you keep your opinions to yourself. You have nothing nice to say about Poole. But come the end of September we'l be giving you something else to moan about.. Its a very L O N G Winter in deepest Wales... Speedway would NOT be better without riders like Darcy (what fool would suggest such a thing?), Only SCB.. DUH, again, a classic case of somebody taking the bits out of a post to suit themselves.read the thread, it seems many on here have a problem with that. Ask SCB.
