Wackie
Well done Zengi - after all the will they/won't they drop him, he rolls out another match winning performance.
EnglishRoundabout
Great to see a class number one in Robins colours again. Ward looked very quick and as in control as I have ever seen him at Blunsdon. The good thing is, there are at least another five matches to watch him in action around the Abbey. Maybe Rosco can tempt Darcy to lead the Robins next season with a new stadium and a new era. Good to see him driving down his average for next season though
Mark
Mr Ford has made a big boo boo by not bending over backwards to fit his best rider into the team. Instead he lets him go to a team who will take 11 points off of Poole In three meetings against them. This Poole team will win NOTHING!!!!!!!! he should have let Holder go and employed Ward. Robson & Hans are a bit of a concern at times. So far this season we are yet to have a meeting where all 7 riders are on form at the same time. something to look forward to ? scottyfan
he should have let Holder go and employed Ward. something to look forward to ? Exactly!! Every one of the other 7 EL teams would of made a team place for Darcy.......There's only one team who wouldn't and guess what?? He's just kicked their collective butts!!!!!!!!!!!We will be in the Play-Offs but we need to make a couple of changes.....Swindon don't worry me and neither do Lynn.....Coventry is the problem as they are solid throughout in every heat. Will Poole be in the playoffs?? They still have Swindon twice, Belle Vue and Kings Lynn to ride at home yet and on current form could lose all 4 matches........Changes are needed now to have any hope of staying in the top 4 IMHO. EnglishRoundabout
Poole will be in the play offs, guaranteed. They are a solid team throughout. Gomolski is struggling, but potentially could come up with decent scores home and away. Well worth persevering with.

crazyb
Why do Poole persist with Gomolski? Utter dross.Because he's owned by Rick Frost

SpecialOne
Top marks to the Swindon promotion again. Always serve up a real treat for the sky cameras and a great turn out from the robins faithful

None of the other fodder will catch Poole or Coventry in the top 2. Poole are way superior with what they have, today was a bad day at the office. They have already proven their credentials.
van wolfswinkel
Superb meeting on The Hill...very good crowd considering the weather, good atmosphere, some good racing and incidents, and comfortable win for Swindon. Well done especially Wrighty and Wardy is so bloody quick. Introduced 3 newbies and they loved it. With the new stadium next year will be much better viewing for the little 'uns. chris4gillian
We will be in the Play-Offs 100% but we wont win the league with the current side. We will be a stronger side when Watt becomes a Heat Leader again. Still spouting nonsense I see...you and that scottywotsit should meet up, close yourselves in a dark room and moan and groan at each other all night long so the rest of us don't have to suffer it!! Matt Ford has stated that there will not be any team changes unless injury forces things. If there were going to be any changes it would have happened NOW with Darcy coming in...but that didn't happen so get used to it FFS!
Pinny
Ward and Kraczmar scored 13 - not really any better than Kildemand/guest and Howarth. Ward was always going to be a class act Always good to see Poole lose Sometimes even tho the scores dont add up , the teams stronger Swindon signing Ward puts batchelor back down to number 5 and also gives them a proper number one. Swindon are definately stronger now and will only improve as The cZech settles in.
Undercover Elephant
I have a question. How many Poole riders this evening ignored Darcy Ward for the entire evening? Answers in any fashion you lot wish!
g13webb
Don't go a lot on Darcy the person, but Darcy the rider is what speedway should be all about. Just the mention of his name and the Crowds come flocking back. The commentators go all hero worshipping, and the competition becomes alive again. Not the best of nights as far as the sport goes with too many falls and delays. The track conditions, caught a lot out. Got the impression Poole didn't like having their nosed pushed out of joint, and were jealous of the attention Darcy got. The last word is reserved for Darcy. The way he resisted the move from Magic, in heat 11 was unbelievable. Nonchalantly, he straightened up and applied more throttle to disappear into the distance. The art of a true craftsman......... Brilliant....
dump that clutch
picture this.... Coventry V Poole - charge full price, big threat of a rain off, nobody turns up, massive inquiry Swindon V Poole - charge £10, big threat of a rain off, healthy crowd, good meeting now which promotion ticked the boxes.... chris4gillian
What is nonsense to you then Chris?. I have not moaned or groaned. All I have said is *Gomolski is extremely poor.....Which is true....I am not the only one who has said that tonight......Still don't bother quoting them you just have a personal problem with me that's why you only quoted me. *Then I have said we will make the play-offs..........................A positive *We will be stronger when Watt becomes a Heat-Leader again.....................A positive *I would rather have Janowski Over Ward or Holder any day of the week..........................A positive *We will have to make changes and it will be harsh on North.....We will make changes because MF always has a plan.................The truth *Lynn and Swindon don't worry me......But Coventry do because they have a solid 1-7.....................Fact on League positions. *Holder is lacking a bit of confidence.............Fact Chris has even said it himself. So Chris its you who has a problem all of the time with me.....Why I don't know. All you (and scottywotsit) do on here is moan about the current team on post after post. Gomolski this, North that. And now Davey becoming a heat leader again will make us stronger...LOL!! You are impossible to please. As I've said a number of times, and maybe you'll get it this time..MATT FORD HAS STATED THAT THERE WILL NOT BE ANY TEAM CHANGES AT THE CURRENT TIME! So carry on with your pointless team bashing if you wish, but most of us feel that we're doing just fine. Is second in the EL with matches and points in hand not good enough??? It is for me. He will be a Coventry fan next year no doubt.

Matt didn't actually say no team changes, he said he wouldn't break up the team for Darcy as his average so high. Watch this space as i think there may be movement soon! Anyway well done Swindon on a great win last night, Darcy was on fire although i felt he wasn't too bothered about heat 15. A couple of riders in the Poole team need to start looking over their shoulder.
