SCB
How "at the moment" is DW being a plonker? 10 months ago yes, but what evidence do you have for "at the moment"? He's served his time, is back doing what he does best and started to score points for fun again. Hope he gets to double figures this evening - 9+1 would do!! Mouthing off about the FIM, promising press releases telling us about the bad stuff the FIM have done. Playing the victim.... Personally i think many will view Darcy as a plonker however he conducts his life because he does come across a bit arrogant and he will always have the potential to say the wrong thing on camera! They possibly will, and you'll never convince all people. Arrogance IMO is fine, as long as it's arrogance about his speedway abilities - because I would expect pretty much anyone with his talents to be a bit big headed about it. From a purely selfish POV I hope he does keep his head down and no mess up again, he's a great rider to watch.
Grachan
Personally i think many will view Darcy as a plonker however he conducts his life because he does come across a bit arrogant and he will always have the potential to say the wrong thing on camera! His recent interviews are quite interesting for me. He seems very open and just talks from the heart regardless of who he is talking to. Take Matej Zagar, for example, or Seb Ulamek. Both were brilliant at saying the right thing to the Swindon fans and sounding like they truly love the club. Darcy just says what's on his mind and half the time he's talking about Poole to Swindon journalists! It's actually quite sweet. I don't see it as arrogance.

ruckerroo
Please don't let this be a heat ten finish and a fetid wet track. It's a corking fixture on paper, if conditions aren't race able don't run the meeting. This is a plea to sky

Chalkie
Sorry, but I have a nasty feeling that we will be paying £1 a race tonight-raining on and off at the moment!

Chalkie
Sorry, but I have a nasty feeling that we will be paying £1 a race tonight-raining on and off at the moment! Just texted Phil Rice who works on the track prep and he says "Meeting will be on. Track needs more water! Rain ceases at 4pm and just dull afterwards." Tell your mates and let's pack the Abbey for this one! Edited July 13, 2015 by Chalkie
SteveLyric2
The track should be fine for both teams as both the Swindon track curator and Sky's track co-ordinator are in attendance!!!

SteveLyric2
So no excuses in any circumstances then Aside from any dubious refereeing decisions, exclusions, or mechanical issues - no excuses for either team. May the best team on the night win!
justathought
Swindon Robins 1. Darcy Ward - 2. Eduard Krcmar - 3. Hans Andersen (G) - 4. Grzegorz Zengota - 5. Troy Batchelor - 6. Charles Wright - 7. Lewis Rose - Poole Pirates 1. Chris Holder - 2. Davey Watt - 3. Dakota North - 4. Kacper Gomolski - 5. Maciej Janowski - 6. Paul Starke - 7. Kyle Newman - Swindon look very strong to me, can't see Poole doing anything.
JamieE
Glad it's not Coventry playing the role of puppets this time in what's likely to be the latest Sky Pirates 10 heat cracker! I really can't wait to see who Nige and Kelv get excited about the most between Poole and Darcy though, talk about split loyalties!
