allthegearbutnaeidea
Cook inplace of Stead, I take it R/R for Birks Fisher in for Barker, Carr in for Edberg and R/R for Vissing
topsoil
Not looking forward to this result tonight, but I'm hoping that TJ can repeat his performance of last year in the cup and continue his recent good form, Richard Hall, being an ex-Tiger, still remembers the fastest way round, no doubt the captain will give his all as usual, hopefully the Fish will turn in a good performance and you never know. Plus Liam is going back to the scene of his bad injury last year. Hope he gets over any lingering nerves and does himself proud. First away meeting for Cody so not expecting much from him. allthegearbutnaeidea
going Sheffield 48 Berwick 42 with Cook and Bellego getting high scores but Berwick to hopefully nick a point, after last night I highly doubt it though
The Third Man
The battle of the 'we wont replace our injured riders' teams don't know about Berwick but who do you want us to replace Stead with? and Birks has been out for just over a week, give us a chance on that one

jenga
iceberg wasn't that good last night at Berwick. give liam a chance in reserve for the rest of the season, unless of course iceberg has got money he is throwing Berwick,s way. felt for Berwick last night. when it comes to guest riders . all riders should be cup tied or only allowed 1 guest booking for that particular club. Fromafar
Berwick's team this evening is not conducive to good racing. Hall on 1 after 4 rides says a lotBerwick have had no luck with injuries just as a few Teams this Season and they are all struggling to find riders it would appear, whether it is club finances or lack off riders want to ride in GB only the promoters themselves really know.It is all getting a it farcical now IMO .I don't like knocking the sport just for the sake off,but something radical has to be done to revive it.

The fact is that Britain especially and the sport in general is not producing enough riders. Probably because the costs are so off-putting for youngsters trying to get involved. Also looks like the doubling up rule is coming back to bite clubs. Think about it, a rider gets injured, it affects more than one club, plus any countries abroad the rider may be contracted to. On a separate note, I was told some stories over the weekend, by one of the promotion, regarding the riders they have approached as replacements for the injured riders. Some of the demands being made are frightening. Some riders realise clubs are desperate and start quoting silly money. Really had my eyes opened.
