robert72
why do you continually start threads and comment on threads slagging off antyhing British, first Tai now Rosco. Do yourself a favour and stop trolling Both of them contribute towards what is wrong with British Speedway but your not educated enough to understand the many reasons why British speedway is dying so quickly. SpecialOne
What has he done to be relieved of his duties? Not dropping a rider who has been the highest scoring in the team and just bagged a full maximum and instead dropping the other rider who just happened to be British? Nationality didn't come down to it and neither should it. If he dropped a rider on the sole basis he is a foreigner, what sort of message does this send out about the sport? Whether in the future he made the right decision to drop Kyle instead of Zengi will only be known in the future but the fact remains that he has made the right decision for the club at time it was made.
IainB
I fail to see why anyone should think he needs to resign his GB position. Because surely it'd be in direct contradiction of the 5 year plan (if this exists), the plan also that the England captain said needed to be implemented or he'd retire from international speedway, I wonder if Tai is happy to see Ward back at the expense of the British Under 21 Champ

Rosco could field 7 Brits to "bring them on" to meet his GB criteria, Swindon finish bottom and support drifts away. As long as we have a system that allows a manager to field a side with no British riders at all, which happens, there will always be this dilemma.
INCOGNITO
TEAM GB MANAGER A person employed to select and work with the best people he feels suited for a team place from those eligible to be selected. SWINDON TEAM MANAGER A person employed for the on track management of the team to ensure all are doing well and as long as they are eligible to be selected he will choose the best line up that is made available to him regardless of nationality. Team changes however are to be done by the owners promoters and management in order to field the best line up possible. Would say it is unlikely to affect Howarth as Coventry are likely to add him to the line up soon it appears
mudflaps
come on... Rosco has to go.... his treatment of Howarth is little short of Embarrassing... Sucking up to Matt Fraud and enabling Darcy Fraud to reduce his average for 2016 Poole team building... Absolute disgrace.... Weasel! chris4gillian
Doesn't matter...... I don't come across as KKS......I am speaking the truth...... Look at Poland.......Polish riders everywhere in there teams......The same goes for Swedish teams... Most of the British guys don't get a ride abroad so there only pay packet comes from Britain.............In my opinion Howarth is better than Zengi on the road anyway....Fair enough if Howarth was riding poorly but he wasn't so there is no excuse for Kyle to be dropped........Its just a kick in the teeth for Kyle.......Fair enough you agree with Rosco that's fine this forum is about different opinions and my opinion is that Kyle shouldn't have been dropped because he is over achieving and was doing a great job for Swindon.....Kyle is the next best rider along with Robert Lambert for the future of team GB and promoters need to start sticking with the British boys because they aren't going to develop if they keep getting sacked everywhere they go........ You are quite rude aren't you? FFS...the point is Rosco is the Swindon team manager acting in the best interests of Swindon Speedway. This is the point you are point refusing to comprehend!! You keep banging on about how Matt Ford should sack Gomolski...and he too is over achieving if you look at his starting average and his current average. Double standards my good fellow. Is that polite enough for you? Oh and Howarth is only arguably the 'next best' future GB rider, however that's not exactly saying much if he's the best we have after Robert Lambert is it?

Gavan's posts may not always be overly popular, however he clearly has more speedway knowledge in his little finger than you'll ever have. Period. Alan_Jones
Best give it to someone from the National League then. ...but not Andrew Silver or Martin Dugard.
chris4gillian
Gomolski is not over achieving....... As a Polish Ekstraliga rider riding in the British League as a second string Gomolski should be scoring a bit better. I don't come on here banging on about how we should sack Gomolski......I said it once. You are a very rude person so I will say CIAO to you. You've said it a number of times on different threads, have a look.... I agree Gomolski 'should' be riding a bit better however as our League position clearly shows we are the TEAM (every rider is as important as each other) to beat. Who should we exchange him for then??? Rosco has made 100% the right decision for Swindon speedway for numerous reasons. This is a business decision, end of. And I think you'll find that I'm a very reasonable person who is willing to debate with anyone (except Starman of course ) HA,HA!! A ORLOV
Rosco has made 100% the right decision for Swindon speedway for numerous reasons. This is a business decision, end of. Correct. The authorities do not employ him as a full time GB Manager
