robert72
A lot of debate about rosco sacking a good young British rider in the British elite league to bring in One foreign rider coming back from a alcohol ban and an unknown foreign rider. Should rosco now resign as team GB boss yes or no ? I think YES because he has gone against what he said about the need of bringing on the British riders. SCB
And give the job to Havvy? The only EL manager who is embracing British riders?

Panthers89
No, he is Swindon manager apart from 2 weeks every year, he has made a move that benefits his Swindon team, and still does as good as job as Muddlo.
SCB
I thought you said he was a crap manager? He's a terrible manager. But we seem to have decided on this thread the only thing the Team GB manager has to do is employ British riders.

Best give it to someone from the National League then.
Grand Central
I vote for Robert72 to be installed as TeamGB manager for the rest of the season. As there are no meetings for the team until next year. Won't make a blind bit of difference if my cat was given the titie. . Rickyb
NO he should stay, they are separate jobs and he is doing his best for both teams. It's unfortunate that a british rider gas to go but his job is to do what's best for Swindon.
Game On
Maybe Rosco and muddlo could do a joint team managers job for Australia, they should feel at home then.
Aces51
Phil Morris was the man. Got the best interests of young GB riders at heart, did well for Birmingham without the need to manipulate the rules and seems far more intelligent than the most recent occupants. However, the opportunity was lost when he moved on to bigger and better things.

They are not exactly queuing to pick up this particular poison chalice. I'm guessing the salary is peanuts if anything at all.
chris4gillian
No he shouldn't be sacked..............However he talks a load of bull 'We have a plan over the next 5 years for developing young British talent' Then when a young British talent is over achieving.....you then give him the sack for no reason................ There are a number of reasons why Howarth was released instead of Zengota and they've all been pointed out many times on various threads during the past 24hrs. You should read and digest what has been posted. Rosco is acting as SWINDON not Team GB Manager and if you cannot understand that then I suggest you find yourself another past time to occupy yourself. On another thread you comment that I'm a fellow Poole supporter, and yes I am, however that doesn't mean I'm going to agree with everything you post...as most of it is nonsense. You really do come across as yet another KKS, Michael Jepsen Jensen Fan Club, Morissey Fan Club etc. etc. etc. pseudonym!
robert72
I think Scott nicholls or Martin dugard would do a good job, both passionate Brits who have a huge amount of knowledge that if allowed could really put the Brits back on the world stage in the next 5 to 8 years. I hope rosco does the right thing and resigns now.

Rosco is acting as SWINDON not Team GB Manager ! rosco has made many comments about the lack of opportunities the Brit riders have racing abroad to gain experience yet he stops a Brit racing in the British elite league over helping foreigners ? Rosco also thought Kyle was good enough to be in the national squad a few weeks ago but not good enough to keep at Swindon ?
customhouseregular
Surely he is Swindon manager first and National manager on a part-time basis. His first loyalty is to Swindon. As long as he picks the best possible team for GB there is no conflict of interest. Whether he has made the right choice for Swindon remains to be seen, but it his choice to make. I fail to see why anyone should think he needs to resign his GB position.
