daveallan81
Speedway Star reported the heat details but unfortunately they don't tie in with the scorers published in the report or in the yearbook. Dutchmen Kroeze and Stemen should score 8 apiece, but are shown as 11 and 5. Bulldogs Cribb and Boocock should score 4 and 1 respectively, but are shown as 5 and zero. The race formula was also slightly different to the 'traditional' 13 heats. And the Star didn't report the heat times. The Bristol programme, and I'm working with almost a full set here, makes no mention of the result. So, I'm looking for confirmation of the heat results, the riding orders and the heat times. Star results below, note that the riding orders are 'best guess'. https://www.dropbox.com/s/p9qq7yhdthsthri/19780723NethvBrisCH.pdf?dl=
