damosuzuki
Speedway can't afford to lose any more 'supporters' even though they might be adhered to an armchair. I started going to Speedway in the very early 50s, I'm the son of a pioneer rider, worked as a mechanic and sometime sponsor and travelled all over the country. These days I'm elderly, partially sighted, skint and a very long way from the nearest track. I sometimes make critical remarks, as is my right, if you don't like that, maybe I could get young Woffinden to describe where you can go? I should add that I thoroughly enjoyed the GP. I go to the speedway with a number of elderly people, so don't pull that one on me. I'm not in my twenties myself and of course I make critical comments. However, there are a small number of idiots on here who are a waste of time and space - didn't include you in it so no need to have a pop at me. If speedway is more and more frequented with assholes like you ,you wont have long to wait . Hopefully it will be then, what exactly did I say that warrants that? Quote it so that I at least know. Rob B
Where does the track equipment come from used at Cardiff? I haven't see the hydraulic rotating grader used at any other tracks?
racers and royals
Where does the track equipment come from used at Cardiff? I haven't see the hydraulic rotating grader used at any other tracks? I`m not sure but Ole Olsen( speedsport) could bring it over from Denmark- certainly the watering vehicle was a Danish truck. Trees
Sections of Poole are not closed off, its open all the way around. In front of the main grandstand? Most people sit in the pits straight grandstand or stand in front though don't they?
eric i
I enjoyed Cardiff again, track was good and the presentation was slick, could have done without the radio one DJ.
R87
Thoroughly enjoyed it last night. I was in the top tier on the second bend and that seemed a lot fuller than in previous years. I had my Rio 2016 cap which I bought at the Maracana last year,so maybe that was an omen for Lindback!?! He rode brilliantly and was a well deserved winner. I'm not sure whether this was better than 2010. Certainly very little to choose.

tyretrax
Met Antonio, and Ole Olsen, at Cardiff Airport this morning. speedway supporters were congratulating him, taking selfies and getting his autograph. Other passengers who didn't know who he was but knew he must be famous started taking photos and shaking his hand.

THE DEAN MACHINE
Great meeting , really enjoyed it but I still think ticket prices are too high , anything below the top level are up to £100 each , I have just brought 2 tickets for gorzow GP for £57 and they are not the cheapest and if you get them earlier they cheaper than that , also as my lad is disabled we had to get tickets in the wheel chair part but they only had 1 seat space left for me or the Mrs so we got the Mrs the seat £48 and I had to get a seat 2 blocks away which was £63 , when we got in to the stadium we found the disabled wheelchair part gave the steward our tickets and she said there was plenty of space for me and I could sit with them which I did so basically I paid £15 extra than I needed to and to be honest the disabled area is not the best view as your low down so riders dissapear below the fence level as the come into bend Edited July 10, 2016 by THE DEAN MACHINE

iris123
After a lot of criticism for his last GP,ref Jesper Steentoft seemed to have a decent meeting last night.Best Dane in the meeting
Bavarian
Not so sure about the ref last night. First he lets Zmarzlik back in for the re-run twice after falls, then throws out Kildemand at the first moment in similar circumstances. Very inconsistent. And he called back the perfect start Doyle made in the semi, then he lets Zmarzilk get away with a dirty move against Doyle in the re-run. I wonder, is Mr. Steentoft a Bartosz Zmarzlik supporter? tyretrax
Was that Ole for the track or Lindback for the win ? Don't think anyone bothered Ole, he wasn't beside Lindback so not many speedway folk noticed him.

Steve Shovlar
In front of the main grandstand? Most people sit in the pits straight grandstand or stand in front though don't they? Theres no standing outsidebon the back straight as you have to be behind the glass. If you stood there you would be blocking the view of people on thenither side of the glass, and the walkway is only about one metre wide. New Science
As someone who goes to Cardiff every year I'm hoping there is more at the fanzone to keep me more than the usual 15 minutes. Quite like the live band but it seems that been canned. There must be plenty of speedway personalities knocking around on the day (Loram,Havy etc, lets get em on stage and ask their opinions on the sport . Not just Pearson and Tatum who give us the PR spin. Keep the stage busy with something happening all the time Ah this years fan zone. Made the trek down nice and early looking forward to the biggest and best fanzone yet. Maybe I should address this question to Phil Rising What exactly was there this year that hasn't been there previously. Nothing except a couple more burger vans ?. This year only lasted 15 minutes as there was absolutely nothing to see,was worried that when I arrived at 11.15 there were people walking the other way. If the Fanzone is not going to be freshened up every year I don't really see the point. Bigger and Better than ever # propaganda .
