Trees
Think Kevin Coombes said it was up on previous years. The 3rd and 4th bends looked busier than usual. Strategically placed behind the studio cameras.

DSC67
Strategically placed behind the studio cameras. thats good planning on the part of the director I'd like to think . All too often the cameras are placed at speedway meetings where they show the crowd at its lowest ...but proven guilty of drink driving. ...but proven guilty of drink driving. not the first speedway rider to fail that test
Endeavour
Riders have sworn in the past in anger, frustration at refereeing decisions or incidents on the track. Woffinden knew what he was doing when the microphone was in front of him. Needing to grow up.
BWitcher
exactly and that's the point some on here don't seem to grasp . The winner of the F1 Gp at Silverstone , the guy who wins at Wimbledon , or who ever lifts the trophy in Paris tomorrow night wont sully the event by swearing will they ? Woffy and anyone else who decides to copy him should remember that there are loads of kids watching and start acting like an adult . Im not a hater BTW I'm more saddened and disappointed at his childish behaviour than anything else https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buG3UP-1wIc Formula 1 drivers swearing on the podium.. multiple times. I've heard Andy Murray swear multiple times during Wimbledon after playing a bad shot. Here's an article about Murray and his problems. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3418931/Just-Andy-Murray-shouting-tennis-star-constantly-unleashes-court-outbursts-player-s-box.html Footballers swear all match long. And here's a clip of Rooney swearing in the the camera.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIDT1eaMkjM What is it that we're not grasping? RobMcCaffery
Great meeting. Big crowd. Missed the swearing but some people must have a sheltered life. Honest to God, show respect for the national anthem, dont swear.... Please don't judge others by your own low standards. It's not a matter of a sheltered life - it's cringing at seeing the World Champion behaving like an ignorant brat on a mic.
Shadders
Meeting should be watched by those with sleeping issues only. Boredom+anti-speedway. Cardiff won't see me again. Oh dear. You were saying? Edited July 9, 2016 by Shads
colin wood
Its not the same thing as swearing in a interview after the match .If Murray uses the f word during a Sue Barker post final interview he would get hammered for it.Its not the first time Tai has done it he needs to grow up and cut it out.
Jacques
Woffinden's a disgrace He clearly thought about what he was going to say It wasn't an accident Well done, Danny King - SWC place nailed on Sad to see Bomber so out of it - if he can't gate with the others and doesn't have the massive speed some have, then he has no chance He's a good rider, a top rider, but never has anything like a decent set up to get him off the start or to give him top speed A word too for start marshal, Gary Snooks, so pleased for him on his appointment for tonight after all him recent health issues So it was him! I thought it was 😊
Steve Shovlar
Stick a pic on Twitter someone will knowTwas a Welsh rugby player who plays for an Aussie club. I asked him. Also next to me was Scott Mitchell the darts player who wad enjoying the meeting even though his mate Noddy had a bad meeting on slow bikes. it's quite funny people going on about people swearing when what the winner been charged with of late . He hasn't been charged with anything. Crowd looked down on previous meetings? About 5 minutes before tapes up I thought it looked a smaller crowd than recent years, but we moved to the starting gate after 4 heats and the back straight and bends looked much busier than I have seen before. Migh have been the biggest crowd ever for the event. A great nights racing. Some very tough battles and riders knocking into each other. Really enjoyed the whole day. Chatted to Monster Joe who confirmed Dary ended up with a pathetic £4000 from his Polish meeting. The fan zone had more room, but was desperately lacking anything worth while. Some trich skateboarders was fun for five minutes. The vintage bikes for about two mins. Some bloke of Radio One grave yard shift three nights a week spun some old record, The Jam etc. How we thrilled to it as he raised his arms in the air, to three old ladies noshing on an ice cream. That bloke from Sheffield spouted his usual stuff, but the Magoos were not there...thank god. Nowhere near enough going on. Very very poor. Nice to chat to the usual motley crew around the streets and pubs of Cardiff. Saw some tart who looked like Lilly Savage, peroxide blonde with roots showing through, smudged makeup, fart stains showing through on back of short white skirt. Shouted out "Gavan" but she didn't look around. Racing was excellent, presentation top notch, meeting ran at a great pace. Worthy winner in Antonio. Woffinden stated poorly but improved. Happy with result. But for Woffinden to shout out, 'Make some effing noise" was both crass and unprofessional. He could just as easily have said, "Come on Cardiff, make some noise". Let himself down. Then he jumped in a car and tried to broadside it around the track which was amusing but put the fear of god into the organisers. It seemed he was trying to grab the limelight away from the winner. The post meeting interviews were shown on the big screens. The rides need to be more professional. Fireworks to end and easy to get out of Cardiff. Listened to bbc Five Live coming back but the sports bullitins never gave it a mention. The sports were Serena Williams, wheelchair tennis, Lewis Hamilton getting pole tomorrow, Andy Murray playing tomorrow, womens super league football, the Scottish Open golf leaders, Frome in the Tour De France, and two women doing ok in an athletics meeting. Not a mention which is pretty poor, both of the bbc and bsi for not pushing it out there. It really is a big enough event to be worthy of mention and was probably the biggest sporting event attended in the UK today.
Grachan
woffy is an idiot if u were in charge of a big company and he came to your office looking the way he is what would do ,i would tell him to turn and go away aint wasting my money on you,and as for his mouth hard to explain why he can swear yet my grandkids get told not too,and whan is lindback going to tie that hair up it against the rules and dangerous . If you run a company and have an opportunity to have the person working for you who is the best in the World at what he does, you would want him at your company regardless of appearance.

Migh have been the biggest crowd ever for the event. No way was that the biggest crowd. It was easily the smallest I've seen. Bends 1 and 2 and the back straight middle tier used to be packed out but there were plenty of empty seats. Plus the top tier on the home straight was almost empty this time. I think they charge too much for the top price tickets. They could halve the price of the most expensive ones and probably sell more than double what they do. Great GP though. Pleased for Antonio. I was cheering for him throughout and will continue to do so until he gets his hair cut. Was, naturally, cheering for Woffy in the final and everyone was on their feet towards the end. Well done Danny King, too, who must have secured his place in Team GB now. Whether or not Bomber has, however, is another matter. Shadders
One of the best British GP's I've seen and the main topic of conversation is a rider swearing. I dunno if it was a big deal or not, I haven't seen the footage, I was at the stadium. Was it really that bad?

Guess we will never know the real figure.

I could see straight away the crowd was lower. Never seen so many empty seats in the middle of the back straight and in the big bank on bends 1 and 2 before. They need to bring the top price down to about 50 quid. I reckon they'd sell loads more if they did.
Terry
My dog can ride in your league. What would Tai learn from British league? WHAT? Falubaz DESTROYED YOUYR LEAGUE CHAMPIONS ON YOUR TURF 55:35 with no preparation, What would Tai learn from the British beside riding on 1 day tracks? W H A T? He doesn't even want to ride in your league because he knows it's a WASTE of TIME and money lol Really? What about those 75 quid first bend seats? Those were empty last year. All of those you mention are British. Conclusion: Brit youngsters are fat and ugly (girls are just whales), guys are so feminine i started to think those fat and ugly english girls must be lesbian to even date "boys like those" lol. Additionaly they're loud and they binge drink until wasted. SO CALLED ADVANCED COUNTRY LOL Swearing 24/7 must be your reality then. ROFL I actually feel sorry for the British. You have my deepest condolences. You're a total freakshow, but you're certainly entertaining-I'll give you that. http://storage2.sportowefakty.pl.sds.o2.pl/photos/57815d4504e852_63881886.jpg A frigging prick Woffinden is I'm with you on this one. Starman2006
What a reception for Woffy, probably one of the most popular British riders ever. You think so, i thought it was very tame compared to last year... One of the best British GP's I've seen and the main topic of conversation is a rider swearing. I dunno if it was a big deal or not, I haven't seen the footage, I was at the stadium. Was it really that bad? One of the best GP's you've seen. Clearly you are easily pleased then...
