John Leslie
How come he looked such a fine prospect when immediately landing on these shores? The plane must have had a mighty fine speedway track on it or even Australia can produce some fine speedway riders. It has been known. He came back to Britain aged 15 at the standard of a decent 2nd halfer / Junior Development League rider, which was about as far as the Australian junior scene could take him. Rob knew he had to return to Britain to develop any further. I saw a lot of him in those early days as I knew Rob Woffinden. Tai did plenty of second half and Development League matches under Rob's guidance, and had a good 2 years in the NL, then PL and EL.

Ovalman
Would be all over the tabloids if a footballer had sworn on tv, lindback and woffy very childish but dont matter as speedway is minority sport.
DSC67
Would be all over the tabloids if a footballer had sworn on tv, lindback and woffy very childish but dont matter as speedway is minority sport. exactly and that's the point some on here don't seem to grasp . The winner of the F1 Gp at Silverstone , the guy who wins at Wimbledon , or who ever lifts the trophy in Paris tomorrow night wont sully the event by swearing will they ? Woffy and anyone else who decides to copy him should remember that there are loads of kids watching and start acting like an adult . Im not a hater BTW I'm more saddened and disappointed at his childish behaviour than anything else Edited July 9, 2016 by DSC67

Terry
If he did - he was wrong. Hopefully I misheard. Blimey, what chance is there of convincing some on the forum that he's British when the GB manager doesn't even know where he was born! stevebrum
Woofy has disgraced himself and the sport by his appalling swearing and messing about on the podium. We always push speedway as a family sport, and yet in front of all the families at Cardiff and all those watching on live TV he uses a four letter word and thinks its funny. Grow up for goodness sake and behave like a world champion. Take your example from Greg Hancock. heard Pedersen (often) and Kildemand (loads) and Iversen too also swear. It's not big, it's not clever but it's live sport. It happens. Hancock the role model? Jumping on a rider and fighting? ? Yea real role model (when it suits him). So Tai's the first sportsman to swear live on TV is He..crawl back under Your rocks Trolls! You know the Tai haters are waiting for anything to have a hate at. Pathetic. The debate regarding Tai being British or Australian continues.... the debate doesn't continue at all. He was born British and proud to ride as a Brit. End of. Can see Tai being fined for bringing the sport into disrepute. Did they fine Pedersen, Iversen, Kildemand who swear often live on TV? ?? There is your answer. Pathetic thing to even suggest.

rob tatum
Sorry I cannot agree with your comments regarding Mr woffinden Having met & had dealings with him & great Ormond st I have found him to be a charming, carismatic& caring young man I fully understand the anger of a role model swearing on live tv but please cut this man a bit of slack none of us were perfect at his age & are most certainly not in later life this one man I feel despite his faults may well turn out to be the most important rider to have come on the scene since penhall Anyway on way back from Cardiff now a truly fantastic go well done to all Sorry I cannot agree with your comments regarding Mr woffinden Having met & had dealings with him & great Ormond st I have found him to be a charming, carismatic& caring young man I fully understand the anger of a role model swearing on live tv but please cut this man a bit of slack none of us were perfect at his age & are most certainly not in later life this one man I feel despite his faults may well turn out to be the most important rider to have come on the scene since penhall Anyway on way back from Cardiff now a truly fantastic go well done to all
andys
Two falls because of terrible track. There is as usually only one path on the inside of this crap track so all riders know that start and 1st bend is crucial. After 1ft bend there is no way to overtake anyone. Boredom.Bellend!!!

Its always hard to tell . but I have neve seen the thrid level on bends 3.and 4 full to the top ,
solrac
Crowd looked down on previous meetings? Think Kevin Coombes said it was up on previous years. The 3rd and 4th bends looked busier than usual.
damosuzuki
Great meeting. Big crowd. Missed the swearing but some people must have a sheltered life. Honest to God, show respect for the national anthem, dont swear.... Why not ressurect thora hird and make her world speedway champion. First time been to Cardiff and it's mental. King did great just shame about his slow start. Very very impressive event in the flesh. Some great races and Hancock in tigers gear😄
