Whatever that is I don't think it works on my BlackBerry  Oddly I prefer to watch sport on a 40" inch screen rather than 4".....

BB user myself and it's time for change, nothing seems to be available any longer, BBCradio iplayer is another one I can't get. Hate the thought of changing again, took me long enough when I ditched Nokia, ah well, progress I suppose.

White in a restaurant, I checked the four newspapers they have for customers to read in regard to the Cardiff Speedway GP. The papers were "Daily Mail, 'Daily Express, 'Daily Mirror' and 'The Guardian."

None of them spotlighted the meeting in their daily sports fixtures section.

Only one of them, the 'Daily Mirror' mentioned the event editorially - for what it was worth. It was a quote by Tai Woffinden in regard to his hopes at the meeting - about 60 words. But no debate - obviously in the space they allowed - with an actual preview on what the meeting entailed.

But, and I was delighted with this, Britain's other motorsport world champion Louis Hamilton had full page/pages coverage of his prospects in the British GP at Silverstone tomorrow, and also background on the various other competitors as well as photo coverage.

And I also saw pages of coverage on some tennis that is being played at Wimbledon this weekend.

Now who said speedway was NOT a minority sport?

...and yet some digbats don't even know Lewis's name despite having (allegedly) just read it in some newspapers in a pretend restaurant.

I am aware of the correct spelling of LEWIS Hamilton. Unfortunately my system amends some spellings and that's what has happened in this case. It was OK when I keyed in but I should have read again to see if any unwanted variations have been made before Posting. Now how do you spell cleverrrrrsss? :icon_smile_clown:

Amazing isn't it how Gluestix's restaurant only has papers with no Speedway in....

Yet if he'd gone to a restaurant that had The Mirror, The Telegraph and The Sun, the he'd have had plenty of reading about the SGP.

That's the trouble with these made-up restaurants in Penge...they can be invented to suit any warped agenda

You don't. There's no such word.,,,just as there's no such restaurant.

I'm sure if he'd asked the restaurant Meals on Wheels lady she'd have brought him a Speedway Star instead.

P.S. He now seems very confused about you pointing out that he'd admitted the SGP was mentioned in the Mirror.

I will watch on anything I can lol. don't pay for sports channels as can't afford it and the only sport I watch is speedway so 30 quid plus a month is a lot to pay for an occasional meeting. Gutted I can't watch it today as Mobdro playing up, even got my program printed ready

Can't see past, Hancock, NKI, Doyle & Woof for the final WITH NKI picking up a well deserved win ( apologies Niels, that's done your chances).

I see that Perry's come crawling back with her tail between her legs.

Tai Woof-that's not gonna get annoying!

That's not a tail......

Only trying to help out... I'll watch on my 50" via a paid BT account!

I know but that weblink I posted is the simplest way for people to watch - and usually extremely reliable for other channels (cough*sky*cough). Sadly I can't run to 50" - but I sit a little closer to compensate

I'm happily watching on BT - one of the perks of being on Virgin Media.

It's about what she does on-camera today, not what she may have said in the past or whatever she thinks of the sport. I think we've seen others in this job fake interest without fooling anybody

She's doing a job like any other professional broadcaster - and so far very well, (Danny Kent slip-up excepted!), along with Natalie. You actually get the feeling they aren't just going through the motions.

TV is an illusion though - been there.

Just in case cricfree does one of its disappearing acts:
