dump that clutch
Only Ricky Wells could have travelled home last night pleased with his form last night. Thorsell was in the mix but got beaten up a couple of times. I expected more from the TM to be honest, I thought the wide open spaces would have suited him but he did remind me of Steady a bit, locking up too much. Lewis Blackbird is the shadow of last season, I know he's had a few injuries but his gating is letting him down badly, last season he was a demon trapper. 'Go slow' Freddie was a massive disappointment along with PK. A really positive meeting from all the Robins last night, seeing Zengi go through the card was good to see, special mention to Lewis Rose, who looked a lot more on the pace, even when behind he never gave up, chasing young master bates and getting him on the line in 14.
Red Robin
No - they are just gash I'd much rather have Hansi in the team (and keep the rest of the top 5) than have Ward in the team! There There were many regulars around me last night, all saying exactly that. Not a single person there wants Ward, they would prefer to keep our top five. Hans clearly loves riding Swindon and shows how happy he is in the Robin's camp. Extremely popular !!!

I know I don't want Ward. I accept he's a fantastic rider but he's still a jerk. First saw his petulance at King's Lynn and haven't liked him since.
dump that clutch
so is all these Ward haters going to be hypocritical when he wins heat after heat...... (hopefully) don't think so myself. He's coming, we can't change it so take it on board and shout him home... (across the finish line that is, not the Qantas flight home)

magnificentseven
Its all very well CVS saying hes looking at new riders, but how do we know they would want to come to Monmore. I remember a post last year, think it was from Wolfie(who deserves a medal by the way for travelling the country watching this lot)saying how he was asking Mikkel Michelsen why he chose Eastbourne over Wolves. Think it went something along the lines " Because i couldnt work with CVS and Adams ". If that is the case with some of the riders, then surely our options are limited who would want to come to ride at the Green. Thanks for the nomination TS I am due to be booked into the Psychiatric Clinic soon It has been sometime since I have seen such a series of woeful performances. What is clear that is is going to be hard to find any replacements from abroad who want to ride for a Monday track in Britain so we may be stuck with what we have until the end of the season unfortunately. I have heard a rumour that Coventry may be interested in Zengota if he is released by Swindon and can't say that I fancy Howarth any better than what we have already so the Swindon lead probably won't come to much. Looking forward to seeing Batch, Killer and Doyley, members of that great title-winning squad, at Cardiff tomorrow, along with a few other ex-Robins Zagar, Janowski, Jonasson, Krackerjack.
