Berwick V Peterborough (on Sky) Wed, July 8th

Recommended Posts

Sky , BSPA or Berwicks promotion insisting the meeting takes place even though they were advised of two or three riders missing for Peterborough who knows but its the usual case blame the EL drop outs its there fault until the facts are known for sure maybe Peterborough were forced to complete this fixture why not just have another team visit Berwick Wednesday night then if its such a big thing to some people.

As long as Robert lambert is riding they couldn't care less who else fills the teams up. As long as Pearson and Tatum can wet themselves talking about him all night everything will be fine and dandy.

Hopefully our " 2nd rate riders " wont spoil the Lambert party on Wednesday.

poor comments yet again from the el drop outs. the reason its on sky is because it COULD turn out to be a good meeting. not rehab robert.

hope and pray your lot dont get beat by 2nd rate riders then

Explain yourself about EL Drop Outs????? Where has rehab Robert come from ????

Can somebody please explain how on earth Panthers are getting stick because three of their riders will be missing for this meeting?

The starting point has to be: (1) who wanted this fixture on this date, (2) who actually arranged it, (3) who has the final say, and (4) who - if anybody - could veto it once the missing riders problem was realised (whenever that was).

I'm prepared to stand corrected but I doubt if the name "Peterborough Panthers" is the correct reply to any of those 4 questions.

Mind you, it won't stop the ABP (AnybodyButPanthers) brigade sniping away every half chance they get.

Panthers fans getting all paranoid a bit . Looking forward to seeing young Lambert again though . Not the easiest place to pass is Berwick , but he's such a hard charger , it should be interesting

Speaking to some panthers fans at Cardiff they reckon Steve Worrall and Adam Roynon are there guests on Wednesday

What's unfair on a promotion is that Peterborough are arriving with a strange-looking line-up thrust upon Berwick's promotion (and Sky Sports) at a very late date.

The Bandits have a guest and r/r because their No 1 and No 2 men in their averages are injured. Part and parcel of speedway, and always has been.

The Panthers are injury-free, yet now announce a team with two guests and r/r. At the very least, that sounds naive.

could some bright spark in the Berwick Promotion not inquire about the situation as they surely knew this situation could arise as they know Dansh League runs on a Wed,instead of sitting around waiting for it too happen instead of shouting the praise of another Sky meeting. If so maybe another Premier League Team would have been able to full fill the fixture instead of turning it into a farce. With Robert Lambert though !!!

Peterborough obviously had a say in this meeting as they would have to agree to ride their but surely it should of been brought up that they have riders riding in the Danish league and that they may be riding that day, another farce in this league and yet again what a suprise its revolving around Peterborough, it makes a joke of our sport tbh
