Berwick V Peterborough (on Sky) Wed, July 8th

Recommended Posts

just a bit of light hearted fun Sarah as you know it can get a bit dusty on that bend, typical it wasn't to bad on Saturday.Anyway will be back to normal attire for sky meeting.

I know that Normski.. telling Goodiepatchie that you're right there to ask instead of him moaning on....

e-Newsletter confirms Ryan Fisher as Bandits' guest for this meeting.

Plus Richard Hall is back. With Thorssell joining the Panthers, this could be tasty.

Won't be quite as tasty now, the BSPA clowns have blocked the lad from joining Panthers...

Try to keep up, Thorssell move blocked. Seems like the Management Committee don't all know the rules. :nono::cheers:

I am sure the same stance will be taken if Edinburgh get in a similar situation

I'm sure, too. Of course the same rules apply. But Edinburgh, like Berwick, tend not to announce signings before they're validated, or at the very least would use the caveat of "pending MC approval" if a need for publicity prevails.

Peterborough fans now feel disappointed in their club because they thought they had a big new signing, who seemingly now won't be appearing. Whoever they now sign might be a bit of a let-down. Whereas, if you don't say anything until you have the rubber-stamp on the 1-7, your fans are all happy with you.

Sure thing Richard.

His name's Robin.

Apparently the moved was blocked in the best interests of British Speedway!!

I`d love to know why, now that Peterborough will almost certainly lose their guest facility for Olly Allen, and have to go with R/R, they may lose a meeting or two they would've won with Thorsell. Losing team, lower crowds, less money for the club, how is that in the best interests of British speedway.

because they are making an illegal move, i dont understand how the BSPA are doing wrong, just simply following the rules that they have had to imply due to Peterborough not following them

“A member of the BSPA management committee, who I won’t name, suggested we tried to sign Jacob after we had initially enquired about the availability of another rider''.

They were given duff info...
