Ghostwalker
Only 2500 here at Smedstadion. Possibly many have chosen to stay at home to watch Sweden vs. Portugal in the final in the football U21 world championship. Smederna had 5-1 out of bend 1 but Eklöf was passed by both Holta and Wennersta. Really poor effort from Eklöf there. ht 12 Sajfutdinov Ljung PK Eklöf ht 13 woff Michelsen Laguta, Holta R. Heat 14 superb battle between Michelsen Sajfutdinov and Laguta. Michelsen eventually won with Emil 2nd. Laguta 3rd.
TonyOfBrum
Enjoyed the meeting on Eurosport tonight, decent stuff Agreed. Had to chuckle at Sam's comment that no team would be promoted downwards this year.

arnieg
Hang in the good guys. Any news on Prezedpelski yet ? I thought Buczkowski jumped the start, so justice was done. Technically a last heat decider, but i'll be surprised if Indianera steal a draw. But it's nice to be surprised occasionally - cracking last heat!

There are two hotels by river and both are near the big clock. Anyway if you are here when there is a meeting; http://ikarossmederna.se/matchpress/tavlingar-pa-eskilstuna-motorstadion/ you either need to rent a car or you go with the speedway bus since the track is about 12km northwest of the city. By car follow signs towards Västerås http://ikarossmederna.se/matchpress/hitta-till-eskilstuna-motorstadion/ The bus have two departures, 17.15 and 18.00, cost is 20kr cash only, preferably smaller values since the driver usually have limited change. Bus departs from sporthallen at Hamngatan 17 http://goo.gl/maps/w83bY. Entrance fee is 170kr, pay with cash, card or buy a ticket in advance online. The above is for Elitserien meetings, no buses and only cash payment for non Elitserien meetings.

RobMcCaffery
Sadly, more lousy service from British Eurosport tomorrow with the Tour de France and the European u-19 Football taking precedence, which is understandable. However there's a two hour gap afterwards which would be ideal for delayed coverage of the whole match. Instead we get an hour, presumably missing several heats again, then an hour of Cardiff highlights. That really defies logic, except that the GP highlights won't be on the main international Eurosport service unlike the Swedish match which will be. So, we're heading for week 9 of the league programme and we have seen the princely sum of one whole meeting. It's just not good enough. SteveLyric2
To be fair, a highlights package is more than sufficient - whichever leagues are being shown!!
RobMcCaffery
To be fair, a highlights package is more than sufficient - whichever leagues are being shown!! You like reading books with several chapters missing or films cut down to half their length? Really? Some of us want to watch the whole story. Is it too much for your attention span? Noodles
To be fair, a highlights package is more than sufficient - whichever leagues are being shown!!I don't mind highlights but missing heats out is infuriating. How can they not fit 15 minutes of racing into an hour slot?
