John Leslie
Did you miss the initial Post. Isn't a Mrs Hyam mentioned as a 'possible glue sniffer'? No, she isn't. I saw your stupid post where you referred to me as "him/her". I saw the Onion man do the same thing and refer to you as "mr/mrs" and ask if you were "on the glue" Then you again went off on a trolling tangent gibbering nonsense about your wife being dead. ..... Something which no one had even asked. Seemed a very warped thing to bring up. You and your little pal seem to want to do anything to disturb this forum except let the topic go back to Tai Woffinden's excellent promoting efforts and charity work which I shall suggest for the third time. Have you got anything sensible on topic to say? Edited July 3, 2015 by John Leslie

John Leslie
Have you? Goodnight. See here http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=79619&p=2640753 Sadly, shortly afterwards, the troll took the discussion away from the subject....which I now for the 4th time try to get back on topic Edited July 3, 2015 by John Leslie
nw42
I have just been praised for my co-operative manner in three Posts today on FACEBOOK...I wonder where I SUPPOSEDLY go wrong on here? At the point of logging in I'd say.
BWitcher
Only because I am appalled at what has been Posted. By the way - had you only Posted that this Thread should get back to Woofinden - you would have got a 'Like' from me - but your snide comments were deliberately put there to elicit a response. Well - you got one. As it happens - I agree with you. We should get back to the original Thread - this diversion from Topic Subject has been very distressing to read. WK, you do nothing but enflame these situations. Consistently you pipe up in the middle annoyed that a debate has turned into a slanging match.. and on each and every occasion you direct your ire at those who were annoyed previous to you and NOT at the instigator. Gustix has once again in his trolling fashion stirred all this up and folk like you jumping in to defend him only serves to encourage him to do it more. If you don't wish to see threads descend in this manner, kindly tell your friend Gustix to take his trolling to facebook and if he wishes to 'ignore the achievements of Tai Woffinden' its probably best if he ignored any threads about him. I don't detract from the fact he could be set for a good run at the top line in speedway - there are other factors about him that I cannot stand. I just ignore what he achieves in the sport - and I know that does not make his successes go away. So Gustix, how does posting on a thread about Tai Woffinden constitute to 'ignoring him'. Also, please elaborate on the other factors about him you 'cannot stand'? Is it his hard work and dedication to promoting the sport? Is it his erstwhile efforts to raise money for childrens charities? Perhaps its his total dedication to the sport? Or are you really shallow enough to dislike a person because they have some tattoos...
Bruiser McHuge
Gustix is a very bitter old man isn't he ......or in plain English...a knob ! Maybe if Woffinden rode in the 30's he might respect him as a rider......he clearly doesn't like "his look" but even a fool will give him credit as a rider Edited July 4, 2015 by Bruiser McHuge

I have never said he was not'. Your Post 69 beneath shows you are not fully au fait with this thread perhaps? Falcon Hammer
Can't believe Tai estimates his expenses at £350K per annum. Wonder where speedway's going wrong!
moxey63
Learned something from Tai's Talksport appearance - we have something in common, in that I pick up any pennies I see on the pavement! Oh, yeah, and my earlobes are looking really big these days! Can't believe Tai estimates his expenses at £350K per annum. Wonder where speedway's going wrong! That's more than that Duncan Smith chap claims.....

I think when you take into consideration all the flights he needs to take across Europe, rent or hotels, mechanics wages before you even get to equipment costs it is perhaps not overly expensive?

If it draws people's attention to some of the nastiness that goes on here then I have served my purpose. Most of the comments are gratuitous and unpleasant. I hope you believe me when I say that I would make the same comments if it were you who were on the receiving end. It just isn't necessary. I don't know gustix - but he is attempting to fight back against some pretty rotten Posts. As I say - you have my word that I would attempt to support anyone on here who I perceive as being bullied - I have done so over other people too. I do find it ironic though, that you, who are capable of causing plenty of argument yourself on this Forum is actually pillorying me for the self same thing.
waiheke1
Twk. Gustix joined a thread about tai woffinden solely for the purpose of making repeated jibes about tai. Why in your opinion did he do that? He chose to deliberately misinterpret a post as a way to introduce his late wife to the topic. As you say, death of a loved one is no joking matter. So why in your opinion would gustix do this? This is gustix' modus operandi on this forum. Hence even incredibly mild mannered posters such as daveallan and norbold have expressed frustration. So ian - why do you think gustix posts in this manner? Do you think it is acceptable? Can u understand why people have had enough of the trolling?

To answer your question as truthfully as I can, this is a free/open Forum and is here for anyone to express their views on any subject under the sun. It is here for the pleasure of it's Members and those who look at it as Guests. Now I know that people will not agree with each other and that arguments/discussions will develop - again that is what the Forum is for. Reasoned argument and discussion - not bullying Posters unmercifully no matter how stupid or inappropriate you consider their Post. I have been guilty of inappropriate Posts on occasion and have tried to apologise for them. Basically, bullying is unnecessary and I will continue to state that as long as I am on this Forum. I am not a 'do gooder' (anything but) I do though, believe in 'Fair Play'. To say someone is Posting rubbish is one thing as long as you can justify your comment with a counter argument. To call people names and to insult them is rather different and is wrong. I know I am asking for trouble with this Post, I am under no illusions about that. I have tried to answer your question seriously and honestly whka1. I know that not many will agree with me - but - I await the Flak.

waiheke1
Ian. I agree that bullying is unacceptable. I do not believe gustix is being bullied. You didn't answer any of the five questions I asked in my post. These were clearly identified by the use of a question mark after them.

You didn't answer any of the five questions I asked in my post. These were clearly identified by the use of a question mark after them. Well I'm afraid I do, you just have to read some of the Posts on here to see that. I cannot give you answers to questions for which I have no answers. The only Poster I can state, with any degree of certainty, the motive for a Post - is me. It is not for me to question who Posts what on the Forum only that they are allowed to do so without 'fear or favour'. I will defend anyone's right to Post what they like - I just think that all the nastiness is unnecessary. I have done my best to be honest with you - you may not like what I say but there you have it. I had probably better stop replying to Posts - someone has already accused me of "making things worse". That was NOT my intention. Edited July 5, 2015 by The White Knight
