Peterborough V Plymouth Pl 28th June

Recommended Posts

Plenty of interest in this match with the British 125 Championship taking place before the main fixture and an MDL fixture afterwards.

In addition the Panthers give a debut to new reserve Rafal Konopka and Brady Kurtz returns as guest at no 1.

Team news to follow.

Plymouth once again, should be a good meeting none the less, here is hoping our boys are firing as Devils could shock us, lets hope the 125's don't wreck the track before hand.

Olly Greenwood back at the EOES already....

Guesting for Plymouth!

i understand peterborough have blocked/objected to olly guesting for plymouth.how.

Unless the rules have changes, its all about the 8 day rule.

Guests can only be used providing they haven't appeared at that track within the previous 8 days. This rule doesn't apply to guests for No.1's.

As Greenwood rode at the EoES on Wednesday, wouldn't that be the correct procedure?

No, as Greenwood wasn't a guest 8 days ago, he was a member of a teams 1-7.

As reported - The 22 year-old Polish ace has been drafted in at reserve by the Panthers and is scheduled to make his debut when they entertain Plymouth on Sunday (June 28) providing the move receives official British Speedway Promoters' Association (BSPA) clearance.

So, if Rafal has obtained clearance from today, Somerset will not have had the time to officially sign Oliver, who, for a short time, will not be in a declared 1-7, so therefore cannot guest. Does that make sense?
