Kent V Eastbourne 29/6

Recommended Posts

Who's in the Kings team for this one? We will need to be on top form! Should be some good racing and a bonus if we could scrape a win for once, it's been a while now! I'm even tempted to get time off work to be there, but I don't want to be driving home pi###d off after a thrashing!

If you don't even know your team yet then I wouldn't hold my hopes to high! Kent could well win here but I don't think they will on aggregate! (If that's how it works)

thanks to islander I am now up to speed with the rules (I think so anyway). no aggregate point just the bonus points on the night .

So how does that work for the return? Is there a return? At Arlington

As this meeting is knock-out cup, its 2 legs and overall winner goes through to the next round. It was a different competition (National Trophy) on the other thread!

what are everyone's predictions

If Rye house, Cradley Stoke and Brum can do it and we have before, I can't see why we can't win I'll go with either an Eastbourne win or a draw at Kent and Eastbourne to make 60 at home

What do you base that on, after two weeks we still don't know who our reserves are! We have a good top end but are let down by our reserves. This is not the case or Eastbourne!

....."or" or should that be "for"?

Would think you used to be one of those editor chaps Gustix, correcting other people's posts.

Not sure that I was making a correction to another BSF member's Post, just asking for a clarification to appreciate the Post's correct meaning.

It is going to need Kent`s top 4 to really fire tonight for Kings to take any sort of lead into the second leg.

A real baptism of fire for Ben Bansford and Couzins and Verge need to step up their performances or more changes will happen.

I can only see Eagles going into Final.

I wont judge Ben tonight on much other than how near the pace he is. Im hoping Jamie & Danno have been practicing somewhere in between meetings as they need to start stepping up now especially Danno if he ever wants to make a career for himself.

Fingers crossed that James isn't to tired from his weekends adventures & that Ben is still on a high from his good showing yesterday. As for Danny the least said about yesterday the better, lurching from one calamity to another like the early days with plenty of time on the deck and dramatic tantrums thrown in, fingers crossed they are all out of his system.

Think the Kings need a double figure advantage to stand any chance but fear it will be very unpleasant viewing tonight.

If there were better riders out there then you could blame the promotion for not strengthening the team..All they can do at the moment is to give one or two a chance that may turn out better , or not ..but they have to be seen to be trying to improve the team or the fans will start to dissappear.... Good luck to Ben Bansford today..I think Eastbournes, bottom end will be to strong for us to get a result but you never know?

That is the nature of the National League. There is very few if any riders you can bring in when things are not going well.

Unlike the Elite League when you can bring in riders from abroad and have lots of choice.

Unless you are Eastbourne and bring in a New Zealander - I am only joking.
