Coventry Bees V Belle Vue Friday 26th June

Recommended Posts

We have a carbon copy at BV. Goes by the name of Zagar, but unfortunately he is un-touchable

Swap? Zagar for Hans?

Been saying for a while we need to wit for Hans to come good but how long can we wait? I guess we're in the play-offs now barring total disaster so can give Hans 4 more weeks but teams can't make changes after July 31st so if he's not sorted by then we have to look at having a work with the Pawlickis, Kildemand and Woffy about spending the last 6 weeks of the season riding for the Bees.

Should be a routine 3 pointer for the Bees, can see the Aces nicking a point as they March on to securing 4th place.

Less routine than I thought but I got the nicking a point bit right! :P:

I'm going to have to agree with you, this is getting beyond a joke. I thought he may have turned a corner after the other night but no he;s back to useless again. I now think it looks like he's going to have to go wether there is anyone on the same average available or not. A second string getting you 5-6 points is better than what Hans is giving us. He's never been what i'd call fantastic at Coventry but this is ridiculous. I said last week that I thought we should still hang on to him but I'm now having serious doubts. Some serious thinking is now required from Mick about this. We've scraped another win by the skin of our teeth which should have been a near 20pt victory had Andersen got anything like the 9-10 points you would expect from your number 1. Fair enough anyone can have off nights or a run of bad form but your number one rider should never have a consistent run of scores of four and below such as he is. Time for a change I think.

Beginning to agree. I keep thinking just wait till he is a 2nd string and he will clean up in that position but with the form he's showing will he? We were lucky to scrape the win with a superb heat 15 from Bomber and Joonas.

Hans will come good don't worry........

Silverbee is a legend on the Updates..........

I agree Gater. Hans isn't the only number 1 to have had a tough time. We know he is capable of scoring double figures. It's not just in the EL either, he's struggled in the SEC and abroad leading to him not being selected by his Swedish club. The problem is how long will it take to find the problem with the bikes and the right mind frame.

Nicholls also had a very poor meeting tonight on his parent track

We have been lucky so far as even without Sarjeant & Hans we have still been winning so credit to the other riders but that won't always be the case.

Listening to Sarjeant speaking tonight and the troubles he's still having with his arm, I would be surprised if he's back next week so going to need Hans to step up against Wolves.

Not sure why we make the track so dusty at the beginning of the last couple of meetings.

When are people going to stop sugar coating everything? It's not acceptable and you can't keep saying 'oh he will come good next week' when every week we are served up the same s..t! Time waits for nobody... And neither do Poole. Who are going to walk this league if we don't sort it out. Yes we are a good team but nowhere near the standard of Poole. I'm sure every Bees fan doesn't want to lose to Poole in the final two years in a row. Edited by Adam Vickers

Ward, Morris, Batch, Hans, not a bad top 4.

Can you have 3 riders with an average above 7.Hans still has an average above 7 for the month of July.

I'm sure the regs said the latest date for team changes was August 28th with the effective date being the 31st

One question. Why are you even bothering to reply to it?

Very enjoyable meeting some good racing and a little argy bargy at times.

Summers rode well early on but looks a bit lost when he does not trap but not on his own there.

The bees looked solid apart from our numer one.

Jason had to go for his swoop on worrall but I have seen that not given as an exclusion.

Lewis rose, thanks very much did his job really well.

What on earth is Hans up to with his set ups he was absolute garbage again tonight.

Who are his pit crew? Bernard Bresslaw Arthur mullard and Charles Hawtrey?

Got away with it again.

up the bees.

Come on Horton show Anderson the door like you did with Kasperzak. He is making you look a right mug and you seem to be putting up with him. He more of an embarressment to Coventry than the debacle of the Poole meeting a couple of weeks ago.

He not worthy of wearing a Bees breastplate.
