Robbie B
Just watch episode 7 'May' of series 3 of The Sweeney TV series. Can anyone remember who the two speedway riders were that were racing on the White City track. I think one was Richard Greer, but no certain. Thanks in advance for any help. Many thanks for the help. I did mean Trevor Geer and not Richard Greer in my earlier post. I always used to get them mixed-up. But if my little grey cells are correct. I do remember Dennis Waterman (Sgt George Carter from The Sweeney) attending the opening meeting at White City, and also the Superama at Hackney, in '76. Grachan
It's at 13:40 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGlxKlI59DE I would say that the guy doubling for the actor is Trevor Geer.

Robbie B
Trevor Geer and Paul Gachet I would say You were spot on eith the White City riders Oldlace. I just checked my DVD against a team picture of 1976 White City team from the 1977 speedway yearbook. The rider with the 'S' on his leathers is Trevor Geer and the other is Paul Gachet.
