topgun
Another rubbish performance on the road . Where is this team any stronger I don't think so .we will never win anything on the road. Lets face it we are just not good enought
graz gp
It was all won from the gate in your dreams. The problem was Worky were rubbish. If it wasn't for Wells it would have been embarrassing.
Cue Ball
The score flattered Worky - 2 punctures for Sheffield riders, one of which gifted Bach 4 points instead of 1 and both of which gifted Wethers 2 of his 3 points, and also bike problems for Bellego in another probably gave them at least a point. Wells and to an extent Hansen aside, the whole team looked a bit pants - Harrison, Wethers and Barrett were pretty woeful. Some great rides by Kurtz, Compton and Bates. Birks looked like the medics were trying to attend him in the pits for summats or other, Sissis was unlucky to pick up a puncture and was there or thereabouts, Bellego rode hard and clearly had problems in one race, Garrity did what we have come to expect. Workyboy - you would have been disappointed by the overtaking...
Lord Lucan
Appears to have been a bit of wishful thinking on my behalf that we could get something from this meeting? Looks to have been a very inept performance by all bar a couple, said before that the shuffling about just meant that the same points would just come from a different area and so it's proving, no one is "improving" too many single figure scores, low single figure scores from our main body to really trouble Sheffield tonight, by reading some of the comments here and on updates it would appear that a "just as bad as Somerset" result was only avoided by bad luck to Sheffield rather than our own efforts? Dont suppose we could blame the track could we?? Another bad night at the office for the Comets and to be fair, I really can't, and much as I'd like to, see this team competing anywhere away from DP, I can't see a result, could be that it will be just "home wins only" for us this year, team just never looks dangerous at all and it wont until at least four or five riders start putting some decent scores together at the same time, one's, two's and three's and you end up like tonight "every" night? Really must do better, we have to?

Cheers edit just seen Blackadders post on the Witches thread confirming it happened. Thanks. Any thoughts on how he looked fron anyone? Cue Ball
He was there and changed, but left before he did any laps
Django
Couldn't have been closer with my prediction sadly, unfortunately our away performances are very easy to predict this season. On the plus side we are one of only two unbeaten sides at home this year! Still won't make the play offs though!
topgun
This as got to be the worst team ever to wear the blue and white apart from a few riders having a go they just can't win away from home
Tigerish
I saw Cameron Heeps doing a few laps at the end. I didn't realise it was him though. I thought it was a National League rider. He looked ok but a bit rusty and didn't seem to do a lot of laps.

He looked ok but a bit rusty and didn't seem to do a lot of laps. He's not been on the track now for past 4-5 weeks could even be longer , bound to be rather rusty after the wrist injury. Meant to back in the side for Witches next match on 2nd july .
Charlieboy
Another quality meeting and a great result. It could and should have been a bigger score. Some cracking racing from Kurtz, compton, bates, garritty and Bellego. The track has been a lot better this season enabling the true races to get stuck in.Thanks to Brady Kurtz a brilliant choice of guest, hes welcome anytime to Sheffield.Well done to all the team.Hope we can take that form with us to Glasgow on Tuesday. spin king
Top Tigers performance and as time passes on a place in the Play Offs is starting to look a distinct possibility. The threat of the Comets reverses which included until recently the rider the Comets had as their number was gone quicker than Simon Stead doing 4 laps around Owlerton, and it became abundantly clear that there was only going to be one winner. For Sheffield; Brady Kurtz proved to be about the best viable replacement for Steady. Ash Birks was solid in his scoring. David Bellego did well and entertained. Jason Garrity did what we expect of him these days and put in another double figures score yet again. Andre Compton was unlucky and deserved more points. Arthur Sissis did well and like Andre had bike problems. Josh Bates for me the Man of the Match looks to have matured overnight and put in a match winning performance that most Sheffield fans know that he capable of. For Workington Kyle Howarth could fault the effort, but you have to question a rider who was only one place away from the full Team GB starting 4. Rusty Harrison lived up to his Christian name. Rene Bach was good in parts. Matt Wethers was poor. Ricky Wells was the pick of the Comets. Nicki Barratt poor Kenneth Hansen okay but could and should have done better. Not quite sure what happens at Workington year on in they put together some very attractive sides that should do well and be competitive, but for some unknown reason it never seems to happen, and this season appears to be the norm.
