Speedway Star heat details show Dave Allen scoring 10. Speedway Star scorers and the yearbook award him 11.

 

Heat details = Gary Guglielmi scoring 9. Star scorers & yearbook = 8.

 

Heat details = Keith Bloxsome scoring 3. Star scorers concur with 3. Yearbook scores 4.

 

Heat details = Stuart Cope scoring 8. Star concurs with 8. Yearbook scores 7.

 

Heat details = Chris Roynon scoring 4. Star scorers = 3. Yearbook concurs with 4.

 

Heat details = Geoff Pusey scoring 8 from 4 rides. Star scorers = 10. Yearbook = 9+1 from 5.

 

Heat details = Charlie Monk scoring 7+1(5). Star scorers = 6. Yearbook = 6(4).

I went to this match and can assist from my completed programme. The correct details are:

 

Allen 11+1 (4)

Guglielmi 8+1 (5) riding at number 7. Featherby rode at 6

Bloxsome 4+1 (4)

Cope 7+1 (4)

 

Heat 4 is the Allen & Guglielmi switch

Heat 9 is the Cope & Bloxsome switch

 

Roynon 4 (4)

Pusey 9+1 (5)

Monk 6 (4)

 

Heat 13 Pusey comes in as T.S for Monk

With thanks to a Boston fan who contacted me off-forum, this mess has been sorted out and confirms multiple reporting errors in the Star. The yearbook scorers are correct.
