Daniel Smith
Anyone buzzing their nips off for this one. For me it's getting a look at the new boy Milik and Robert Lambert. Other than that should be a dead cert home win. _____________________________________________________________________ Press Release from klstars.co.uk STARS OUT FOR REVENGE AGAINST LAKESIDE Posted on June 22nd, 2015 Thursday night, 7:30pm, sees the King’s Lynn ‘Roger Warnes Transport’ Stars host Lakeside at the Adrian Flux Arena, and after last weeks defeat to the Hammers, nothing less than a win will do. The Stars return to Saddlebow Road almost a month after their last home fixture due to the World Cup break, and boss Rob Lyon has changed his team around for the meeting with new signing Vaclav Milik set to make his debut. It will the first time this season that the top five will be in a different order as Lyon attempts to get his side back to winning ways. Stars number one and captain Niels-Kristian Iversen is the only rider to keep his position. Lyon has switched Nicklas Porsing to the number two position in the team with Robert Lambert moving to number four. Heat leader Kenneth Bjerre vacates the number five position for Milik and will race at number three instead, while reserve pairing Ashley Morris and Lewis Kerr remain unchanged. Explaining his change, Lyon said: “I have decided to move the team line up around for this match and freshen things up to see how best we accommodate our new signing. Hopefully the move will work out well for us and we can get our season back on track once again.” The visiting Hammers have been forced into two changes for the meeting. Rider replacement will be used for Kim Nilsson (Swedish fixture) and at reserve, Carl Wilkinson replaces Ashley Birks (Sheffield fixture). Gates will open at 6pm on Thursday with the parade taking place at 7:30pm. Admission prices: Adults £17, Concessions £14, Juniors £5, Kids under 11 go FREE. King’s Lynn Stars 1. g13webb
It was suggested many weeks ago on this forum, to change the team positions. Riding Lambert at 2, was silly to think his rides were all done by Heat 10. Porsing needs all the help he can get and pairing him with Niels, as last year, was everyone choice..... The chances are. the order will change again next week when the new CMA are released... Hoping Milik hits the floor running....,,, Lynn track should suit him As seen of late, Lakeside can ask a few questions so it's not the fore-gone conclusion people might imagine. We have a replacement for RORY the rider, but we still need to replace RORY, the motivator Edited June 23, 2015 by GRW123
foreverblue
If any meeting can be an easy home win its this one. 55-35 my prediction. Doesn't matter who rides where, all the home riders should win races with the possible exception of morris.

g13webb
Getting a fair dose of speedway this week. Lakeside/Wolves on the tele, Mon night; Peterborough, tonight and Lynn tomorrow. The wife has said many times I think more of Speedway than I do her..... Am totally at ease with the corrupt way our sport is governed, I may have strong feelings, when comparing the past with that today, but I still enjoy the principal and excitement of 4 riders racing around a circular track. Obviously, would love to win every match, and especially that illusive league title. But it would make little difference to me, or my enjoyment of watching speedway. My needs now are few. Seeing Lambert riding 4 races, giving his all, will satisfy my enthusiasm . The smoothness of Niels is always a bonus. Milik, I eagerly wait his input. Kerr, can be relied upon to do his share, The rest need to up their game before I can get enthralled with them. Lakeside have few decent riders. AJ, Bech, Kennett; Lawson will see its not all one way traffic...... Can't wait.......

semion
Could we see Kenni B go through the card tomorrow night, and will certain lynn fans then still want him gone ? Edited June 24, 2015 by semion
speedy17
Could we see Kenni B go through the card tomorrow night, and will certain lynn fans then still want him gone ? He should be going through the card at home... other than Jonsson taking the odd point off him you'd expect him to beat every opposing rider... bet he doesn't though. start fox
Should be an easy win for KL. But the boys need to meet expectations. Porsing needs to do well, he is capable, Bjerre is more than capable if his head is in the right place. Milik should settle in fairly quick. That just leaves young Morris to get into gear and Robert Lambert to wind his neck in, and stop thinking he is an undisputed super star. A serious change in his attitude is needed. semion
Looks another fine day in Gotham City. Should be Sunshine Speedway tonight. Will we have to wait for the sun to disappear before we can get started ?

SteveLyric2
Be interesting to see if the new guy can spark the season to life. If not, the wait will continue I gather Buster's got at least half a dozen replacement air fence panels ready just in case!!

When you have a track safe enough to race on the fence panels will be just fine thanks, not like Poole #BigDipper 👍
