Arena V Wolves

How enlightening. You didnt disagree with me though. I (and many others have proved you wrong in the past). Same old rubbish , same old Brum.

Still waiting for a post that says something of relevance instead of usual attack mode.

Still, I'd be smarting if I got showed up by making a statement you have been proven to be wrong. Owned.

Don't forget, you don't bother reading my posts

I was impressed with Ashley Birks tonight, just have to see if he keeps it up

Ashley looked pretty good against KL on Friday but even better tonight. When John Cook was interviewed he paid tribute to Ash who has played his part in turning the team spirit round and picking everybody's confidence up. He said Ash gets on well with the rest of the team and I think that shows in his riding. He seems to get on especially well with Mikkel Bech , and as Adam Ellis rode probably the best he has ridden all season in the two reserve races I wonder whether that is because he seems to be hitting off a good partnership with Ashley.

I have to be honest I was beginning to think that Ash wasn't going to cut it but I am pleased to be proved wrong.

I personally think Wolves reserves are stronger on paper than Lakesides. Both Blackbird & Bates ride very well there.

I was very wrong. Bates looked like a different rider than the one that guested for us Friday.

I was very impressed with Ashley Birks who looked very fast and full of confidence.

Another good win for Lakeside.

Just watched this, did they actually open the gates to the public?

Feel for any wolves fans who went down there & paid Full Price to watch it yet home fans who attended the last match got in for a tenner.

Lakeside Promotors should ashamed.

Sky matches should be half price admission for everyone.

Lakeside looked empty just like the Coventry sky match, yet Swindon at £5 was packed.

I think that all the riders did their best last night in what looked like very tricky conditions ,I thought Well's rode better as the match went on and was lucky( if I was going to fall off I would prefer PK following) to get away with his fall in ht15.Freddie was disappointing but has been all year by his standards ,PK continues to defy his age Musielak will become an excellent rider once he contains his youthful exuberance but is great to watch .

Poole at a tenner was packed, probably bad crowd due to the weather.

At lakeside it was only a tenner to those who showed a programme from the last match.

I think that is disgusting for any away fan,and they wonder why fans stay away.

Some promotors are killing the sport.

Very poor judgement and clearly fans are voting with their feet, didn't look to be more than a few hundred from the TV cameras.

Spot on.

I'm afraid the last couple of Sky league meetings have shown just how out of touch certain promoters are.

The Glasgow and Swindon meets showed how Sky TV could be used as a tool to enhance the sport and in the long term drive up crowd figures, yet again they quite simply haven't learned a thing.

It's a stupid way to do it. Charge those there the other day less. Peterborough on Wednesday is odd too - if you have an offer make it available to everyone. At first I thought Swindon buy in advance but not on the day was odd but it worked and thinking about it, I like it. People have to commit before the day/weather - and its too easy to get home from work, cook the tea and decide, "sod it, cant be bothered".

British Speedway should introduce a "Sky meetings for a fiver" offer but ONLY if bought in advance.
