Rob B
From Belle Vue we leave about 12.00 but that is on Fridays when traffic is particularly bad. Probably 2.00 from Wolverhampton would be ok.
Falcon Hammer
Usually I leave about 3.00 to do the reverse journey, get there early, but don't need to rush & stress free. Would recommend M40 as queuing onto and on M1, with roadworks J19-15
E I Addio
You can never tell what the traffic will be like. Sometimes it takes me an hour longer to get up to Brandon on a Friday than it takes to get home. The earlier you leave the better it will be. If. You arrive early there are the usual burger bars and also Tracy's Diner on site where you can get a sort of half decent meal by Speedwáy stadium standards or for something better the shopping mall is only about a mile away. If you go in the Lakeside website there is satellite picture of the area with some pretty good directions from the M25, but take your time on some of the roundabouts as the lanes can be a bit confusing. If the traffic is really solid on the M25 near Dartford Tunnel, turn off at J29 and go down the A127 a short distance then up the sliproad onto the A128 which runs parallel to the M25 with a lot less traffic but even that gets busy around South Ockendon from 5-ish. This takes you down to the A1306 about a mile or two east of thrack so you turn left onto it and go down a mild or two and approach the track from the opposite direction . Check out the mao but the golden rule is to give yourself plenty of time because as the afternoon wears on it gets very busy. TV meetings on a Monday don't get much of a cried compared with Friday meetings though. Edited June 20, 2015 by E I Addio
stevebrum
Time for another away win?? Having lost at the basement side if we can't win here then it's freefall to the bottom 3.
E I Addio
Time for another away win?? Having lost at the basement side if we can't win here then it's freefall to the bottom 3. Equally, if Lakeside can't pull this one off they might as well give up. In the A fixture Lakeside's reserves scored 3 while Wolves reserves scored 16. With Ashley Birks back and hitting a bit of form one would hope that balance to be restored a bit especially if Adam Ellis manages to stay on his bike. More importantly AJ is back now and should do better than the 6 points Jason Doyle scored when guesting last time. It's also interesting that Mikkel Bech and Jacob Thorssell who were heatleaders last time are now both riding at No2. LAKESIDE . 1. Jonsson 2. Bech 3. Kennet 4 Lawson. 5 Nilsson 6. Ellis. 7. Birks WOLVES. 1. Lindgren. 2. Thorssell 3. Musielak. 4.Wells 5. Karlsson 6. Blackbird . 7. Bates.

Wolves are already in the bottom 3 - so it's not much of a freefall

mdmc82
Wolves had a brilliant start to the season and sat in the top 4 for a while. However they seem to now be drifting down the table. If they have any chance of making the play offs then they will need to start picking up maximum points away esp against teams like Lakeside & Leicester. krompa
Is it really on Sky? Not Belle Vue - Coventry? Bizarre.
mdmc82
Is it really on Sky? Not Belle Vue - Coventry? Bizarre.Originally it was Belle Vue V Coventry when fixtures were released earlier in the season but then it was changed to this.

I'm glad you introduced this statistic because in each of Lakeside's four home defeats their 1 - 5 outscored those of the opposition but lost. Last Friday their 1 - 5 still scored more than their opponents but, this time, so did their reserves.
E I Addio
Is it really on Sky? Not Belle Vue - Coventry? Bizarre. You seem to be implying that the involvement of Sky is detrimental to the sport. Lakeside v a Wolves was provisionally fixed for August when the kids are off school, and attendances are at their highest. By switching it to Monday Lakeside will have 3 home matches in a week so the crowd is bound to be low tomorrow, Surely you can see that makes perfect sense?
steven101
Bates gonna throw more toys out the pram? Normally does when on sky.
INCOGNITO
So many unpredictable riders in this one but home form should be enough and Lawson as a second string should give him a decent return while Wolves don't know what to expect from Thorssell Musielak and Wells. Lindgren has been poor in some meetings but at least Karlsson will be able to score well in this one and make it look respectable but Hammers to win by

mdmc82
Can only see a home win unless the lakeside reserves have a shocker I personally think Wolves reserves are stronger on paper than Lakesides. Both Blackbird & Bates ride very well there.
