2ndbendbeerhut
Hmm 2 things: 18.11.2 A Rider may ride as a Guest (in an Official Meeting) at a Track only once in an 8-day period unless he is replacing the Home Teams #1 or is a NL Rider guesting for the Home Team. How come Covatti guested for Rye House on the 13th June? 18.11.3 The Guest must be in a current Team Declaration and have an MA that is the same or lower than that of the absent Rider. If a replacement EL Rider also has a current PL MA then the higher of the MA’s will dictate the eligibility. How can Konopka guest tonight as no longer in a Teams Declaration? Special dispensation?? dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Konopka at reserve.... how can he? Thought you had to be in a sides 1-7 to guest? hestill is for a day or two ..... Re Nico - rule states riding as a guest is covered by 8 day rule. Tonight he is not a guest so he has only been a fuest once in the 8 days. Edited June 20, 2015 by dontforgetthefueltapsbruv

Baldyman
Beautiful and sunny here at Workington. Hope spanner made it Plenty of water on track and looking slick enough for the witches girls obviously not. Looks like another shocker for the title favourites
Baldyman
Thank you nico Covatti. You and Danny made the trip worth while. When you needed to come up with the goods you did. Won't comment on some of the others, but welcome to the Miskoviak school of speedway
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Well done boys on a great fightback. Â Glad you enjoyed it in the end Baldyman. Â If only eh!! Certainly cant afford that kind of start tomorrow. Â Hansen quickly found his oom bop again!! wink
Baldyman
Once The dirt line was 3 inches from the fence nico just came into his own. And others didn't fair so well
spanner47
After 8 hours at the wheel ( minus 90 seconds for a wee break ) made it with a few minutes to spare. After 3 heats I was questioning my sanity, but Nico and Danny made it worthwhile. Got to agree with Baldy about the Miskoviak analogy, but how many riders do look for their team mates these days? When we left we were hoping for a point this weekend, so we've got what we came for, not expecting anything tomorrow.

topgun
A poor performance at home tonight nearly lost it good job we had Hansen at 7. Can't see how this team is any stronger than it was before.just manage to win at home so will never win away from home
Lord Lucan
Definitely a tale of two halves this, Comets set off like a house on fire and were all set for the big win then, once Ippo got their act together, the wheels, while not necessarily coming off, certainly worked very loose and only one win in the last seven races very nearly cost us more than one point? Â Dont understand all this fuss about the riding order, everything just looked the same to me, points just came from a different area, Hansen looked outstanding at times tonight especially running down Tungate and Hawkins for vital points then, a couple of mediocre races to finish, Bach never looked comfortable to me despite the 9pts no spark, illness maybe still around, Howarth good in parts same with Mattie, Rusty definitely was just that, looked like he'd never been away first couple of races but effects took their toll late on as expected, Ricky looked sharp at times and deserved more than he got and I was quietly impressed with Matt Williamson, from an NL rider he looked very good winning his first race but well down when push came to shove, still tried tho and never gave up. good on yer!! King and the improving Covatti were best of the Witches, two very fast riders once their eye was in, gated very well and proved almost impossible to get by. Felt for Nico in Ht15, led all the way, did all the donkey work only for King to steal his thunder on the run to the line, what was that all about, Covatti deserved the race win for me, shame on you Danny!! Â Still, a win's a win and this pts format still gets us a 3pt success so it would never have been better, a few good races on show tonight and what looked like heading for a borefest turned into a pretty decent meeting at the finish, Comets will improve once Rusty is back on song so I dont think it's all bad, dont see us challenging for anything, cant see much return from the away form but we'll be difficult to beat round here that's for sure!!
